I just love to listen to this song when I climb a peak - anything above 1100 meters. Then I just sit,take my ipod,click play,first watch the view..then close my eyes..and then..I just turn off myself..feel the wind,sun,ground or whatever - just without seeing - that's when Your imagination does wonders..the feeling is just..well I can't compare it to anything else..

this song expresses for me the sad and tragic beauty of life and also the possibility to find hope, inner peace and comfort

To me this song is a reflection of peace, all the while knowing of the terrible suffering that exists world wide.

It's funny though, that whenever you look back you see that all the memories you had then were better than you will experience. That means that either things are getting worse all the time, or that you only realize the amount of fun you had in hindsight.

how can anyone dislike this - how can you not feel your soul being pulled into your consciousness to face the thoughts that you suppress . amazing .. that is all

This is...fucking gorgeous. I could listen to this hundreds of times and still, find inspiration for my writing. For me, this piece symbolizes how the world turns, from day to night and night to day. And how this planet looks from space, to view it as a fragile and beautiful home.

There aren't many things that make me feel so connected to myself and the universe as this music . Thank you soooo much Gustavo Santaolalla! May the angels spread flowers ahaed of your footsteps forever.

It's called a charango. It's an Argentinian instrument. It looks similar to a ukelele and the back is made of an armadillo back. lol
@KahlieNiven4 жыл бұрын
If I remember well, It's more an Andean instrument than just Argentina. Morcheeba dedicated an album to charango :) ... for those who like trip hop ... :)

@volcanovape420 lol good soundtracks don't always equal to good movies, though i kind of know what you mean. i've found that in some cases though, the soundtrack can be even more epic than the movie itself. anyway, check out the main theme to "mr. nobody." there's some breathtaking guitar in that ost as well.
