I don’t think anybody pointed out that even Cynthia’s eyes changed. At first, they were small, which you could view as being horrified, but if you pause at 0:22 before Cynthia even realizes, her eyes are much smaller than at the end, where they match Dawn’s look. Also, there is a lot of detail on Cynthia’s eyes, even when chibified, mostly lines under them to show fear or possibly pain. Those details disappear once Cynthia is transformed though.

@@sanscofa2184 Actually Cynthia might do well against Fairy types. Lucario knows Meteor mash now and Roserade is one of the best poison types in the game. Plus Garchomp knows both Iron head and Poison jab so it has moves to beat fairies too. Plus most of the fairy types in the Platinum dex aren’t very fast or defensively bulky. The only ones I can see doing well against Cynthia team is Togekiss and Azumarill.
