I can't get over how mature and level headed Gavin & Avia are at such young ages. As a KZbinr myself negative comments really affect me and I just can't help but let them bother me… but to see Gavin & Avia respond to the situation in such a positive and mature manner is just amazing to see! I think that it's because Shay and Colette are so supportive. They don't shower the kids with 'you're the best kid ever!!!!', but they give encouragement and praise where it's due. Plus, they're all so positive with each other; from what I see, they seem like a really great family. :) I love seeing how happy their family is!

Sontard is NOT fat, he is unique and has a great personality Princesstard is NOT a brat, she is protective and a great older sister Babytard is NOT annoying, she is outgoing and loves making people laugh Rocktard is NOT a baby, he is just a kid and after he falls down he gets right back up and Brotard, he's just so damn adorable! :) All the kids are special in their own ways and they are some of the strongest people ever because they don't let the haters bring them down and that's something a lot of people cannot do.

Wait till sontard reach 13-14 years old, he'll be a big guy if he goes to the gym and do some soport. I was just like him at his age, then when i was 14 i joined the Argentina's national swimming team. After some years i broke one of my shoulders and i couldn't keep swimming, so i started to play rugby and i still going to the gym, so i'm getting bigger and bigger... someday maybe i'll become a bodybuilder haha, someday, but now the fat is gone. Sontard has some good future if he gets concient about that, but now he's just a kid and he only has one priority "just have fun, and enjoy life". (sorry for my english i still learning haha)

Love all the shaytards kids! There all such amazing kids and so smart for there age and each have there own individual personalities, Avia is strong willed and a born leader she is a very grateful caring little girl I think her good qualities are getting a bad light which is unfair, Gavin is so kind and sweet and I love how he can set a goal and stick to it, so amazing for someone of his age. Emmi is just adorable and so crazy I love it she always makes me laugh and gives me a smile in the vlogs, Brock is another crazy little man but also has some really sweet and caring moments and Daxton is of course just pure adorableness at its maximum, Everybody is different and they are all individuals with different ways about them plus lets not forget at the end of the day they are all young children what terrible people could judge children in that way. Avia is probably the most hated on in the family but one thing about her makes her special, she gets this negativity but she continues to keep her head up and stay strong. She never changes who she is just for the community of haters. Myself yes, sometimes I find that Avia can say wrong things, but she has a living mother and a maturing father who are willing to teach THEIR children on what is wrong. Here Are the things that stand out in the kids (Good things) Gavin- He Is such a great big brother! He sets a good example for the little ones. He is Athletic, Caring, and Sensitive. Avia- She is the out-going one. She is always trying to make people proud of her. an she Is Creative, Friendly, Emmi- She is somewhat shy, Still trying to figure out Who she wants to be, always seems to be helping, and Very polite. she is Helpful, Humorous, Honest, and Sensitive. I almost never post comments on the shaytards vlogs because I am afraid of what people will say, but this is what I think. Sontard is kind and protective of his siblings and he is handsom, Princesstard is extrodinairy and pretty, she can orginize my stuff any day. Babytard is sweet and beautiful and we can go to lunch someday and eat watermelons, Rocktard rocks and is sooo cute he is very tough and when he gets hurt he gets right back up. Last but not least is Brotard, he can't say much so we can't understand him but I'm a Christian and I believe that God understands him. If you are a hater or a fan of the shaytards I think we all agree that Shay and Collette have raise their kids to the fullest of their abilites and I thank them for putting their life on KZbin. P.S. I am only 11 years old so if I spelt something wrong I'm very sorry.

I think Sontard's comment shows that he is growing into a confident young man. Standing on the foundation of love that his parents provide he will be an amazing adult. JUST READ: Don't you guys think giving kids hate on a social networking site way too mean... Avia is no way a brat! She is a very pretty, smart kid. She didn't swear and even if she did does it really matter, Shay would of dealt with it if she had but obviously not on camera. You get 20 minutes of the family a day and you don't know what they do off camera, I'm sure they care for the kittens perfectly and I'm sure if their kid does something wrong Shay and Katilette deal with it there own way. These kids are brilliant and deal with your shit better then any other 9 year old would. I would of cried if someone called me a brat and names at that age, Shay has done the right thing by teaching them that what people say don't let it effect you and that you have people in your life that are going to judge on you. CAN WE PLEASE NOT GIVE THIS FAMILY HATE! They are wonderful and have worked so hard to be where they are today! I say we should dedicate a day of the week to each kid. Monday is Gavin. Tuesday- Avia. Wednesday-Emmi. Thursday-Brock. Friday- Daxton. On each kids day, we should BLOW UP the comment section with stuff we love about that kid. Anyone agree? Shay taught Gavin a pretty good lesson. You know that people will always comment on things, either nice or mean. If someone ever says something bad about you, its not really nice of them, but you know that's just how some people live. Do you have to believe everything said negative about you? No. Mostly all the hate is false. Gavin already knows this at his age and I didn't learn this concept until I was halfway into my 16th year. Great parenting Shay and Colette! It makes me so sad to see Avia feeling bad about the comments saying she's a "brat" or whatever. I remember being her age, and I was SO vulnerable. Every little thing anybody would say to me has really affected my self esteem even now as an adult. I remember when I was like Avia, I was so confident and talkative, and now that confidence is so diminished. Just the thought of it makes me sad. In hindsight, I wish I hadn't taken all those dumb negative comments to heart when I was younger. When Shay asked his kids if they knew they were good kids Avia looked so unsure! To Avia and all those young people who are just more susceptible to negative comments like I am: PLEASE DO NOT LET YOUR LIGHT BURN OUT.
