my 8 month old "thanked" me for changing his diaper. His actual real first word was dada. And I'm happy for it. My heart melt the day he said "I love you" for the first time. Babies at this age are so adorable. Then they grow up and you'll have to run after them and they won't shut up. 😁

I was born directly in the middle of a war zone in Beirut in 1982. My parents said I was mimicking the sounds of explosions before ever saying mama. Almost being blown to bits three times, living on the seventh floor with the kitchen open to the elements, the wall completely missing from a explosion.
