My favorite was the girl who hadn't seen her father for two years. That's just too much!! All of this helps me to appreciate our military more than I already do. They sacrifice not just their lives but being present in the lives of their families. Thank you so much to our soldiers and their families for all you do and sacrifice.

@CEWIIH what the hell? What the-I- why would you say that? They’re serving their country and YOUR country too. You just sound like a selfish person yourself for saying that about someone protecting their love ones and their country. Yeah they’re family misses them but they are NOT selfish soldiers. Also I saw a reply on another comment. If you disagree with this and think it’s selfish, don’t watch it. You’re making yourself feel negative watching something you don’t like and reflect it on everyone else.

Often when a military person is deployed, their family members and friends know little, if anything about their destination or mission. This makes for a lot of angst and stress and uncertainty which is compounded by their absence during a time of war. Just the sight of that loved one after a long separation brings out the raw emotion of just about anyone, especially when they’ve be serving their country. I’m a 72 year old man, but I was teared up through the entire video. LOVED IT !

The moving reunions of troops returning home after serving in the military are included in the film. Both the soldiers and their loved ones, who are happy to be reunited after extensive separations, can be seen expressing their true emotions during the reunions. In the movie, troops surprise their mothers, sisters, girlfriends, and kids. Another guy pops the question to his fiancée in front of a large crowd. The sacrifices made by military troops are highlighted, as well as the emotional toll that their deployments have on them and their loved ones. The family reunions in the video serve as a reminder of the solid relationships that may endure despite adversity.

When I young I thought the military was stupid. As I got older and now have my business and two boys I've come to learn that nothing is free. Everything has an attendant cost. And what a heavy load it must be to secure the very freedoms I once took for granted. I cannot imagine the daily stress and anxiety a family must feel when their loved one is carrying such a heavy load. Having them miss holidays, birthdays, births and the passing of loved ones. Truly, thank you for your service and sacrifice.
