In Cami's defense, she's just a simple person, a little airheaded, direct and with a good heart, she wasn't trying to seduce the kid or necessarily put the kid's head between her breasts, she just wanted to hug him, but her figure made it end like that. Galko-chan or even some of the friends of Nagatoro. But it's a classic trope to have the Gyaru being overly sexualised, while not being really like this.

But regarding Alicia, having followed her channel for a while, I know that she is quick to draw conclusions, but just as quick to change her mind about characters, we saw it clearly with Mirio for example. So we will see later how her vision of Cami will change or not.

@@EcoUnlogical They could also be distant cousins, quirk genetics are WAY more blatant than any other genes, so they could just have a great great grandparent they both share from the early generations of quirks. Or it could be a similar manifestation of a quirk, like how multiple fire quirk users exist, or as we see with Kaminari specifically other electric type quirks. Remember that a villain with a very similar quirk held him hostage early on, and Jiro implied there are even more electric type quirks just floating around in society. It's not super common but element type powers are still gonna be more common than some weird esoteric abilities like limb manipulation or tape generation.

Neat details in the OP: For a brief second, there is a neko sweater thrown into the sky and then you see Aizawa holding it - Aizawa bought it for Eri, but the nurses thought it looked ugly so they returned it to him. When Mirio looks upwards, you can see a silhouette of Nighteye's glasses. One detail in the ED, where you see the students in bed being depressed, you can see that everyone is still depressed, but in the light except for one - Mirio. Smiling during the day, but at night still hurting 🙁 Also it's my personal favorite ED in the series so far (including up to season 6) xD

There's some english dub lines that i love and in this episode, Bakugo's " that how i was raised and look, I've turned out awesome! " still makes me laugh 😂 It's like he wants to prove that it can't be that bad because he became amazing.

Bakugo's English VA has some great comedic moments. It's kind of funny to me since I watched the dub of Attack on Titan after this and didn't realize Connie was also voiced by the same VA until he started shouting and was like "Oh, THERE'S Bakugo!"

At 18:25, i think they cut a part out of the manga, because after bakugo responds "that's how he was raised" he looked at todoroki's scar, flashbacked to hearing his past at the sport's festival, then bakugo immediately went quiet. It was a very subtle and considerate moment

My hottest MHA take: season 4 part 2 is the best part of the anime, no contest. Season 6 comes close, but nothing hits me where I live like 4.5. It’s the most thematically coherent, it broadens the hero world in really interesting ways, it has a beautifully complex villain, and it crescendos with maybe the single best episode of the series. And yes, I include this short part with the kiddies that most people skip past. It all goes towards the same theme: what is a hero? Why do heroes need to be strong? What is strength good for beyond just ego? It examines and dissects the heart of what All Might represented and show some holes in that way of thinking. And that opening and ending rock fucking hard.

Endeavor's character arc is probably one of the best ones in the series tbh. It's made clear early on that he has a reputation for only caring about results and status, and he has done some despicable things in the name of being the greatest hero. Later on, it's shown that some of those despicable things were being a horrifically abusive husband and father. Then Todoroki expresses how much apathy he has towards his father, prompting some serious reflection in Endeavor for the first time. Shortly later, All-Might retires and he is suddenly elevated to the position of Number One Hero, despite not having earned it, basically making all of Endeavor's efforts up until that time completely pointless. So here he is, swallowing his pride and finally talking to All-Might one on one to ask the big questions: how did you do it? How did your mere presence prevent crime in a way that I'm incapable of doing? How did you become a Symbol of "Peace," not a Symbol of "Fear" or "Power?" And now that I'm here, the Number One Hero because you retired, not because I'm stronger than you, how am I supposed to fill the enormous shoes you left behind?

I’ve always thought that Eri’s quirk could let her become one of the greatest healers ever. Once she masters it she can reverse any injury which just seems awesome! That would be how to prove overhaul wrong and get over his influence.

I expect so, but I also love her as a foil to Shigaraki. Tragic backstory? Check. Raised by master villain? Check. Quirk that makes touching you potentially deadly? Check. They have the same recipe, but where Shigaraki turned down the path of hate and villainy a single glimmer of light turned Eri towards heroic ideals. On top of that Eri's quirk is basically the perfect inverse of Shigaraki's. He inflicts the ravages of time and decay on things, including people, she rewinds that time. She could potentially hard counter his quirk for people. She can't rewind anything that isn't alive though, so can't stop him crumbling buildings to dust.

Yknow people tend to focus on Todoroki when it comes to familial issues, and people really overlook Bakugo’s mom (I forgot her name) since it just seems like a funny little scene when we first see her and Bakugo interacting. But considering that Bakugo genuinely believed that the best idea to deal with the bratty kids was to find the person they look up to most and stone them…. Look I’m not saying that she STONED HIM but she definitely didn’t manage to teach him much about how children should be treated clearly.

Tbf, the Quirk Singularity Theory, the idea that quirks evolve and get stronger with each passing generation, is a well established concept in the world so the kids genuinely think that their quirks are just better. This is my favorite writing piece in shounen anime because it excuses the idea of why teenagers who barely trained their quirks are beating adults with years of experience.

Time to come down a little after the.... everything in the first half of the season. Jiro's dad is a musician and her mom is a former groupie. Might be remembering the mom wrong, but I know her dad is in the music industry. At least Endeavor isn't trying to tie Shoto's glory to himself. So that's progress. In barest fairness to meat, for the entirety of the first round of the exam, the Shiketsu students were all lone wolfing it. So the tells from Toga during the fighting and the lack of Camie's quirk weren't in view by Camie's classmates to be noticed. Did Gang Orca binge R Lee Ermey vids? Because he's got the Drill Sergeant act down! Bakugo especially wants for constructive behavior and healthy interactions. Bakugo really wasn't paying attention to the important part with the assuming of a combat stance. I had a feeling you'd be squeeing in this one. Exactly what I first thought. Aloof, blonde, certain he's above it all.... If this kid ISN"T Monoma's cousin or little brother, I'll be exceedingly surprised. In universe, I don't think Cami thought about this, but that means that in universe, Gang Orca should correct her. Out of universe, the animators and story boarders need to keep it in their pants and write or draw the scene like this. I can't hate Cami because there's so little brain activity displayed by her, and the fan service intent of the creative team is so shamelessly transparent. Then again, she did refer to Shoto as a thoroughbred, so.... there might be a few yikesy brain cells that are actually getting oxygen. Plot Twist: Endeavor genuinely wanted to talk in a constructive manner. While Batman is a good example of a heroic deterrent, Superman is the better example here to parallel All Might. Because they not only suppress crime with reputation, but stimulate hope. No no no. Kaachan would just pummel the kid. Then have the kid be stoned by the kid's friends. Which is honestly worse. And that's two highschooler heroes outsmarted by pint sized pre-schoolers. "I wanted to become stronger than anyone" Now doesn't that just sound like so many shonen heroes? And a couple of shonen rivals to boot. They're toddlers with superpowers. Of course they're cocky. Also, what caliber will that kid who unhinged his jaw to deploy a barrel be shooting with at adulthood? 25:13 Mirko. She's popular. But she won't be making an actual appearance for a while. 27:24 No, this is someone else, and as you can see by the suits teaching him while he's blindfolded, he has his own issues.

Idk if its just that I have a massive family (like 200+ living relatives), but I have been at the receiving end of so many boob hugs, and now as a grown women with massive tits, give them. My 19 year old sister is only tall enough that that's exactly where her face is when I hug her, and my busty aunts probably smothered me countless times with hugs as a kid. But I've never once considered that weird. Like, if it had weird suggestive undertones I'd get it, but I only see it as "soft hugs are soft and warm" otherwise. Like, tits are just a more cushioned chest and they aren't inately sexual. (Though many would argue I'm wrong on that one) Idk, its just weird to see such a strong reaction of dislike to it when I just see it as a natural side effect for busty women.
