Many people believe that this song is about abortion. I dont think so. I believe this song is about the discarding of the potential that a creator has in creating their art. Why? Because of the key world near the end. Entelechesia/Entelecheia. It is part of greek philosophy, that which realizes or makes actual what is otherwise merely potential.

I believe this song could be interpreted in alot of ways, with that entelechesia at the end- it kinda gave me the impression that the person could see the potential within themselves, beauty and/or just in general; so they decided to build upon and fix things, gradually tweaking themselves so they could be perfect. they never reach it so they eventually give up and trash themselves

Wow, this was beautiful. The ending really shocked me. Like I stood there for a minute just staring at the screen trying to comprehend what had just happened. I just couldn't accept it. Though it was probably for the best. The ending that is.

I feel like this is a sequel to the “World’s End Song,” as some parts of the song are referenced here. Perhaps this is about the same girl from the prequel trying to find her child again? This could explain why in 3:02 the words “I can find you” are shown and why the character was so desperate to find the “entelechesia.” Maybe she thought “reconfiguring” herself was the solution to finding her baby? …or maybe this is about a completely different story. I don’t know, I just had so many questions about why this song was so similar to the World’s End Song.

@DamareSAN Our disagreement seems to stem from the debate over the point in a pregnancy at which personhood is ascribed to the fertilized egg, embryo, or fetus. This is not a scientific debate, but a philosophical debate. It is arbitrary, so there is little point in arguing over it. Hopefully we can agree that-regardless of our personal feelings on the matter-access to abortion should be guaranteed to those who need or want it because it is a medical procedure that must be available in order to guarantee bodily autonomy.
