Man I love The Baby Animals. The thing about Australian rock 70's thru 90's Until they started interfering with the live music scene is that it evokes such an honest feeling of what Australia is like. It speaks to the heart of most Aussies. No matter where in Australia you're from or what your background is. So many of us in the age bracket to remember hearing these tunes and those lucky enough to see these bands when they were pub bands (my folks have told me many tales) it just speaks to us more than a tune. Well I feel like it does. It makes me feel so much love for my country. Especially tight this moment when it feels a mess. When I can hear how people have been able to contain the heart of Australian history and culture in music I feel more connected to the land and the people. You did that Dominic. You're a gem and so are the folks recommending this music.

All these blues screamer, come from the Australian’Pub Rock’ scene. In Australia tiny towns have many pubs, like American towns have many churches. And each pub has a least six bands, for six days a week live music. The bands that make it to TV are the best of this massive pool of talent and wannabes.
@drwinklepecker92982 жыл бұрын
One of the best, most under-rated bands. Seen them live many times - always awesome. I have a full concert filmed from the edge of the stage from a couple of years ago - the power from being in front of Dave's amp is pretty special.
