This synth is seriously good. I love how they took a great synth and expanded on it. The battery emulation is awesome for making cool distorted sounds. And don’t get me started on the side chain. Great walk through - get em coming! 👍

This would be a nice layout for a physical synth module. This synth does some cool things. Edit: (Behringer joke but sort of serious)

This plugin may be nice, but turn off that terrible reverb. If an analog synth doesn't sound cool on its own, it doesn't deliver.
@NatLifeSounds Жыл бұрын
yeah, you right. It sounds pretty good and autenthic without reverb.

There is absolutely, positively, NOTHING like a plug in, etc, thst sounds like a real Oberheim or EMU, not even close. Matrix-12, OB-X,SP12, can NOT be replicated with software

If u weren't looking at the video visually what differences would u be able to pick up on that would make u say this is a soft synth as opposed to the hardware? I'm asking because I've heard some good emulations..

I have hardware and I have software. In a mix, you can get close enough to fool almost anybody. Also, there are plenty of bonuses of software: patch recall, more mod options, price, easier to EQ, more effects, price, doesn't degrade over time, portable, price, and let's not forget the price. Hardware proponents can be obnoxious. It's like a wine connoisseur who won't let someone enjoy their Napa Valley wine because the grape originated in France and the soil there has more nitrogen. Just let people enjoy their wine/synths, man. That's all we want.

@@ottam agreed… although when it comes to resale, hardware has the advantage. But whatever gets you to thinking more about songs and less about gear, I say go with whatever that is for you. (Also, cork sniffing is really getting tiresome)
