Hi, Have you drilled the safety rail to bed or just kept it under the bed? How safer for kids?

I kept bed rail under the bed Mattress only bcoz it will be difficult to open the bed after drilling and also our mattress is single and heavy in weight so our bed rail not move due to heavy mattress.
