I get it & Understand where Blu is coming from. When you are younger & you acheive your dreams & have possessions that you like and someone takes them, you think that possession is an actual representation of your God given gift. Whether insured or not, on that level of thinking, you’re just not gonna let someone take something from you easily. That being said, when you mature, have kids or go through a lot more struggles you’ll see that NOTHING physocal can represent what God has given you to do. In this line of thinking, it wouldn’t matter if anyone took anything from you, because you know its just physical and you can get another if you wanted. Sure, its pride and he could be cappin about the insurance, but ultimately when that happened he felt that the object was as important as his life. Obviously, he hasn’t been in a situation where other ppl’s lives has depended solely on him. That kind of responsibility makes you move different.
