Baby Brezza base malfunction FIX. Not dispensing water or powder.

Hi all, as funny as this video is, don't do that just yet. Spent a couple hours looking into this and I think I figured it out. There is a 'hole if you will behind the dispensing funnel. It's basically a rubber cap that comes out of the pump. If you leave your machine sitting around long enough, it dries out that cap more or less gets "stuck shut." You need to basically prime the pump. Heres how I did it: I grabbed a syringe (no needle!). It can be one you use to inject a turkey with seasoning (which is what I used) or I would imagine one you get from kids cough medicine works as well. You can buy some 3/16 fish tubing from Walmart for a couple bucks. I had some sitting around so I cut off a 2 inch piece and stuck it to the end of my syringe. I filled it with water and stuck the other end in that hole and squeezed water into it. It sounds dumb, but I also smacked the top of the machine a couple of times so everything kinda fell into place. I tried it again and now my machine works great. Hope this helps.

Sooooo.... here I was...... looking through the Intertron hoping beyond hope to find a vid that will make my POS Brezza work. We kept it in storage for when the 2nd came along. October 6 - 2021 I was that close to doing likewise..... attempted to take it apart - it' doesn't like to come apart - so rather than break/destroy it, I put it back together, used a syringe to blow & suck out the orifices - water did in fact come out - used a Compressed Air Duster to blow out everything from the electric plug for the Water Jug, to the water inlet at the bottom. Gave'er a good couple of whacks on each side and top, plugged 'er back in, & did the Ounce/Start/Stop Button HOLD for RESET - then gave 'er a whirl...... whaddya know it worked & at the same time it extended it's Life Expectancy. Good Luck to any others with your FRUSTRATIONS - hopefully this helps b/c Bezza Service SUCKS not to mention this particular one is discontinued.

I wanna comment on these videos and tell you guys an easy fix. 9/10 it’s the spring valve stuck on the water container fill the container with water and take it to your sink at the bottom of the container you will see a little spring button hold this up or pump it until it lets water out the babybreeza should be fixed. Unfortunately the fix is kind of simple. The check valve gets stuck, to solve the problem, simply put your finger on and block he water coming out the exit tube. If that doesn't solve the problem use the vinegar mix for descaling first, then try it again. Most cases this will open the check valve up. You can always order a new one for about 3 dollars online or at your local Aquarium dealer. The over flow is there to ensure the system isn't over pressurized.

Someone tell him an actual good smack on the top lid fixes this. I just repaired mine like this. It hadnt worked for 2 years because of gap between babies and it seems the motors get stuck over time.

Make sure you use good water, hard minerals in storage will lock the pump. Use your head before tossin.

Only ever ran store bought formula water. No pumps or hoses on my machine appeared to be locked as other people found success with. After many calls to Babybrezza’s customer support team, or lack thereof, I found this to be the best fix for mine.

Im gonna try adding some compressed air to the tank to get the pump to pick up water....mine seems to have lost prime. EDIT: i tried the compressed air on the tank and it fixed the no water issue....pump just needed to be primed.

OMG! KM, whatever did you do? The video was hilarious & your comment was even more so. BLAMING someone else for your frustrations & kid crying/screaming isn't going to solve the matter - It's been a year & am sure you are laughing about it now - even if the vid showed a proper "FIX", I highly doubt you would have been able to fix your brezza in any amount of reasonable time while you have a screaming/crying kid, Take responsibility for you actions. I have two kids, one a new born & our Brezza is also a POS, but what I didn't do is BLAME someone else as I sought a fix for what appears to be a common product problem, btw my baby is still crying as I write this. SHE HIT happens. IMPROVISE - ADAPT & OVERCOME.

You never know what other people are going through or were going through at the time, and that was a very rough post-partum period for me. I'm not sure what you mean by take responsibility for my actions and to seek out a fix, as that is clearly what I was doing at the time. All the best.
