Awe, he looks just like my little baby blue bird named Rio who I adopted at the end of December. I'm hoping to teach my little Rio to talk, but I have 2 budgies and I'm not so sure they're going to be interested in learning hooman speak! I'm trying though. I play birdie videos for them whenever I'm not home, so hopefully, at least one of them will learn some phrases.

Very satisfying to watch! ❣ But I've always wondered about the real benefits of having your budgie interact with it's own reflexion, versus it's owner's attention. Any thoughts ?

Hey Bear. I don’t think there is any benefit normally. Raisin is scared of the male budgies, gets bored of the females quickly and loves to be carried around by me. I homeschool the kids so I have a lot of time for him, but the mirror and KZbin give me a little break. I’m transitioning to no mirrors though as it’s unhygienic, even with all the cleaning 😁 The other budgies don’t have mirrors as they are used to a flock/cagemate. Raisin was caged alone when we got him.

In spite of the title, this isn't a baby budgie. A young budgie yes, but not a baby. Baby budgies have stripes all the way down to their beaks .
