I always, always loved this song. The movie is golden love beautiful and warms my heart. It's in my DNA and I pray that I have one or more romances that we both look at each other when we first meet like woooowwww you are so beautiful, hot, amazing and we need to be together right now. I remember seeing this flick one late night as a kid and this tune stood out to me. I just assumed that it was David Byrne on the vocals. Obviously it's not, but it wasn't far off though. 😄

Fantastic! I'm trying to do the same for an audio project based on this movie. You did amazing work!! Btw is there a scene where a guy mocks Grace by screaming something like "try not to break any toilet seats!" ?? I remember this quote but can't seem to find it anywhere (maybe it was on the original tv version?)

This is what I wrote in the notes of the movie I uploaded kzbin.info/www/bejne/jIrbmJ2Qp6yAn7M The soundtrack written by William Olvis. It was never released for sale on cd or cassette. He may have done the vocals on it too, I can't be sure. Mr. Olvis went on to write the music for several television shows and movies, and some of them are available for sale. But as far as I can tell the song and background music only exist in the audio track of this movie. It's possible that the original magnetic tape recordings are sitting in some box in a warehouse somewhere. Niceeeee. PS I think he came from a musical family (father was an opera singer). I'm pretty sure it isn't David Byrne in the recording because he was VERY famous at the time and would have been given credit in the movie. A lot of male singers back then were trying to sound like David Byrne. Olvis was a young composer hired for this low budget movie and very possibly played, recorded and sang all the soundtrack music.
