So adorable! Baby Chaba is so full of energy now that she is getting milk from mom as she should. Sweet little one, her little trunk isn't much bigger around than the hose. Mom Bunma is looking much better too. Lek you are a angel on earth for these magnificent creatures. You and the ENP staff are amazing. 💓🐘🙏🏼🤗

Mom is definitely more relaxed. Stress played a part in her diminished milk supply. She needed rest, good food, plenty of water and most importantly, no stress. After Lek and staff spent countless hours massaging her teats and putting warm compresses on them, she finally was able to produce milk: a minor miracle! I'm so happy for mom & baby! They are both more relaxed and seem much happier. Thank goodness there's a sanctuary for these magnificent creatures. Elephants are not beasts of burden or made to entertain us. They are meant to be free!💕🐘🐘💕

It is such a relief to see the baby thriving, and the mom gaining weight and calming down. It is really amazing how relatively quickly elephants seem to be able to adapt. Of course, anyone would be greatly relieved to be out of slavery……..It just warms my heart and makes me chuckle to see a newborn playing and zipping around….delightful. However, behind all the fun, I also see the older rescues and am grieving for all the years they suffered, and for those who continue in slavery. I am so grateful for all the career, mahouts, farmers and support folks that have joined together to provide safety, food and a place to roam for these intelligent and majestic ellie’s. Thank you Lek…..you have a heart of gold.

Yes, the ones that have broken legs, damaged internally, abused for decades, that Ms Lek has saved....I want to see them often. They are the beginning and end of ENP. How they are doing is vitally important. The ones who are still abused, tortured really, worked almost to death, starved...I pray for them, and hope someday that Thailand will pass strong anti cruelty laws that will put the thousands if not millions of humans in Thailand that are freely allowed at this point to practice instutionalized cruelty.

I pray and hope one day, thailand government will ban the elephants slavery, i hope they realise how important these beautiful creatures on earth, same goes to all animals. Always get teary eyes seeing the abused, and people like Lek who has a heart of gold, i believe Lek should be recognized more in the world.

I was just going to ask if their still in quarantine, and Ms Lek told us. The baby is truly a infant, she must have been born right after you rescued them. Mom looks better every time you show a new clip. The cuteness of both babies. And their moms is like a explosion of love, infinite care and family. THANK YOU for saving Mom and her baby. What a relief to know they will never suffer again.
