I was just saying to myself, their adorable, then the chick squirts. I have one fertile egg out of 6, which I ordered off Ebay, it is due to hatch on the 28th. I can't wait for this little bundle of cuteness to pop out of its shell. I made my own incubator, its so easy to do.

I named my one silkie mama because she adopted 4 different breeds of bantam.(my silkie is a bantam along with the ones that she adopted). She is laying on some eggs so hopefully they hatch because it will be my first time with hatching chicks. And they will be silkie cochins because our only rooster is a cochin

I can't do it. I had a single bandy chicken for YEARS. And he passed away 3 months ago. I miss it so bad. i want another. Chickens are not burdens they are gifts from god and everyone needs one. Esp bandys. They are so versatile. Bandys adapt to you and love you no matter what. Its such a great breed
