Frustrating, thiers so many videos not being honest and that steals from what's important to us. I always see people with bare bottom tanks and I am aware it can work, but then they are saying tint the water and that in my opinion could crash the water quality. I find we agree on some key points, so tonight I made the dechion of what I thought when I first began, and decided to simulate nature and add substrate from the parents breeding tank to the empty grow out tank! Frustrating, because the more videos I watch with bad advice, the more amiture I seem to become! Thanks for helping with confermation on having more natural! We want these guys to survive

Is it normal for the parents eat their babies?
@MARKSAQUATICS2 ай бұрын
@Nala-l9p yes sadly they do. Their the best parents for looking after them, but as soon as they hatch, they will eat them. That's why they hatch at night and drift away in the plankton to start their new lives. 😀👍
