¡Muchas gracias!

It's great to see leaves and some greenery. Cold and snow here like in the Nov. videos. I guess people don't like them on their cars and stuff. They do have a purpose to clean up road kill and stuff like that. Friends of mine in New Brunswick put out bones and waste and they clean it all up.
@corvusaeternus3 сағат бұрын
Yes, they do a very good job on cleaning the streets! I think many people don't understand how important they actually are! And for sure they don't like them on their cars but they like to jump on them so that I can see them better 🙂But normally they stay to their trees or roofs.

So heartwarming Jonathan, thank you so very much for sharing your bond with these two Amazing Birds, and of course the rest of the crew too! Your epilogue touches such depth and is truly heartfelt 🖤 I too have not seen my buddies in a while. I have not been able to feed them for a couple of weeks, but I don’t think that’s the only reason. Some hawks have been hanging around too and the Jays have not been hanging around like they usually do. This morning though a bunch of crows flew by the window, with a couple that I recognized flying extra close and giving their usual greeting caw 🥰 You are right, time is no matter when it comes to a bond, they as well as us, will always remember ♾️
@corvusaeternus3 сағат бұрын
They definately remember - even after years! Hawks are a big problem for them. I'm not sure if were are talking about the same hawks but here is a hawk problem as well (accipiter gentilis). And eagle owl too. The crows have been very alarmed and they avoid the areas they used to hang out before. I also found several dead crows. Some probably killed by birds of prey but others look like they have been eaten by a fox, marten or other predator. 😞
@brilliantbirdbuddies2 сағат бұрын
@ ahh, I see, I had to look up accipiter gentilis! Yes, we definitely have those here too and call them goshawks, though I have never seen one. There are many species of hawk here. I think the culprit is either a Red-Tail or a Northern Harrier Hawk, and both seem relentlessly skilled in pestering. I know that its nature, but sometimes I do wish they would just banish themselves from this area 🙃🙂 Thankfully I’ve never come across a dead crow here, but I have witnessed the hawks take off with squirrels, chipmunks, and once I saw a barred owl capture a mouse🫤

Hallo Jonathan.
@corvusaeternus3 сағат бұрын
Vielen Dank.
@Vossmoor-Natur-VlogКүн бұрын

LG

this is a very touching, atmospheric quality video, as we are already used to from you! It would be a shame if you didn't make more videos like this! I totally empathise with your situation, I was in a similar situation last year! It's been very traumatic and since then I've been meeting my crows in different ways and places... I hope this unpleasant situation will be solved and that you will find another way, place and time to spend pleasant moments with your crows again: it's important for you and good for your crows!😉

Going to miss them. When you get your letter run it past a lawyer, it is not unknown for the police to overstretch their boundaries shall we say. Hopefully you'll pick up some new friends
@corvusaeternusКүн бұрын
The police was actually very nice and interested in the crows in a positive way. But they are not the ones to decide. Now I'm not sure if I will hear anything at all if I won't be fined. I would love to have a letter saying that I didn't do anything forbidden. I don't want new friends... I want Ernie & Bert... and there are many other crows that I'm friends with. I will have a look after them in the holidays I think when the kindergarden nearby is closed and many people are on holidays. But I won't feed or film there.

Beautiful footage and music! Love them I hope things go back to normal after a while and that you will be able to visit them more often but I'm sure they will remember you even when some time passes because you're their friend and they'll always know you. Also I'm sure your crows gets snacks from random people too! I carry at least 10-15 peanuts in my pocket. I'm sure people share their food too, at least people who like animals. When I go to the store I see that near some house (on the outside of their fence) they leave sometimes some sausages, macaroni, bread (I know it's not the best food for birds but I guess it's old bread that is a bit more hard & they leave it there for the birds) and so on... I think it's small leftovers from their lunch/dinner but I have seen crows and sparrow there so I believe your crow friends will get random snacks from people! Lots of bird haters out there but lots of bird lovers too! Apartment building near me they leave some food for sparrows it's near the apartment on the grass. That apartment building is more normal than ours... because we have nasty older people here but eh I still throw at least 10 peanuts every morning on the grass near my window 😬 2:52 idk why but I love this walk so much 😂 Lots of best wishes for all your crows I hope they stay healthy during winter ❤🐦❤
@corvusaeternus4 сағат бұрын
They definately remember. There are crows at another place that hadn't seen 2 years (and I never had very much contact with them but they know me from the forest and seem to live there now). And they always come when they see me now. They don't forget your face! Actually I hope they don't get snacks from random people. I'm afraid someone could poison them and they could be too trusting eating everything.
