Chimpanzees

My instruction was to see if I could help Faben, a male chimpanzee struggling with depression. He also displays reactive behaviour towards his female companions, Gina, and Marisha, who shared the same living space.

They're clearly very engaged and enriched by the different scents! It's very cool to see all of them so focused for so long! I am not surprised that they reacted so well to the scents, our senses are pretty much the same. It's lovely to see them more cohesive as a group!

Wonder what would happen with gorillas…… this was soooo fascinating and really brought a tear to my eye thinking that this is one very BIG thing captive animals are missing….. the scents and remedies that God put on earth for them to use as needed. I wish you could go around to ALL zoos and teach the keepers how and what to put out for their chimp populations so the animals could have peace and a feeling of safety…… 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

How about getting them out of their cages and enclosures.

Of course that would be the best solution, but I am not able to do that. The one thing I can do is try to support them in a way I know how. No animals should be caged including farmed animals.
