Fun fact: before the screening of the film I attended, there was a short introduction from Edgar Wright in which he said NONE of the chases used CGI. It's all legit stuntmen, which is insane.

theres actually a lot of symbolism as the movie goes on of him wearing progressively clearer sunglasses and wearing less black cause he cant turn a blind eye to the crimes hes part of anymore. its also representative of how close he is to the crime world, when hes at home he wears all white and when hes getting coffee for the criminals its black coffee but when he gets it with deborah its with cream. also during the coffee run scene how carefree he was walking away from the criminals but how tense and off beat it was when he was walking back to them past the cop and the person preaching on the corner.

As someone with tinnitus I will say that while the severity varies from person to person it can often be ignored to an extent if you’re really invested in what you’re doing like watching a movie for example. Of course the reverse is true as just thinking about it can make it worse. Mine is literally a louder right now because I had it on my mind as I typed this.

actually, that one scene where he is flipping through the TV channels, he says all of those lines later throughout the movie. he even says the "you are so beautiful" when he first met deborah, and he used the monsters inc line on Doc. i can't remember the other ones off the top of my head, but he says all of them.

The whole film shows most his lines and talking is him parroting what he hears or reads from lips. Then there are other areas of the film where it's not just him, but the world parroting around him. Great example is the opening music to get coffee and the crime lord saying to run for 25 years, with his sentence being 25 years.

This movie was pretty much perfect. I loved it. Every actor and actress was amazing. Wanna just keep go seeing it. The ending was satisfactory and realistic. left no loose ends and didn't try to pull unbelievable horse sh*t. I fuck*ng adored this movie!

tinnitus is quite the annoyance depending on the severity, i have a low form of it, sounds like that static sound that an old TV makes when it is turn on but the volume is all the way down, after years you completely ignore it is there except when you are in absolute silence and you realize there is no such thing as total silence for you ever again

there are so many bits of symbolism and other little artistic details throughout this movie. the color of Baby's shirt represents different things. black represents the life of crime, and white represents his life away from crime. you can see in the scenes where he is in the appartment with the old guy, his shirt is white. when he is doing crime, he wears the black vest. i think there's even a point in the movie where his shirt is grey and that represents the two mixing together.
