OMG congrats on your new LO. These are great recommendations. In my experience, i preffer to use the desitin daily instead of as an actual treatment. I think its got some vitamins and its also quite thick so its more like a barrier for the skin. Dont know who recommended it to you? but in my case it was my own mom who told me to get it, but she told me to use it as a preventative even when theres no rash and if i started to see red just to apply more. Also which variant did you got? The one she told me she used for us is the purple one so ive been getting that. Lol my kiddo is almost 5 and i still have to put some on if theres some redness going on due to heat or anything else. PS. The sound machine is great! Ive even used it for myself haha

Just an fyi, never had a diaper rash with cloth diapers(had diaper service back in the day, born 29 years ago this November). I do not know if there are still diaper services out there now, but they are better for the environment than the disposable diapers. 😊❤

I would love to hear more about nursing once a day! I’m trying to do that but I’m scared I’ll have nothing left in the morning? We did the exact same thing EBF to 6 months and then supplement and solids after that. I’m down to one pump a day and one nurse. I would really like to only nurse upon wake up but how soon after do you give him a bottle?

I nurse him in the morning when we wake up, then I’ll give him some solids, and then I follow up with a bottle to finish it off! I hadn’t noticed any dip in my supply, but I also haven’t really paid much attention to it. I just let him nurse as long as he wants to and make sure he gets a little bit and then move on!
