No I haven't thought about fertilizer yet but that's a good idea.

Thanks. I haven't made a video update yet because it's still greening up for spring, but it IS alive and well (seems so). I think I'll wait to give it a name until I know it's going to live long-term this time. I've had two others that didn't make it. I'll try to remember to put the tree videos in a playlist next time.

Hi! I’m curious if you prune your baby Sequoia?? I have one and it he has some browning esp towards the bottom still. Should I go ahead and prune those away? I’m curious what your input might be?

It’s fine and a good idea to prune off anything that’s obviously dead (brown, dry and brittle in this case). I do that to mine.
