Those baby goats are cute. It’s funny watching them try to stand and walk.

Am I the only one thinking in my head for her to put the babies down!?
@mciver476 жыл бұрын
No, I bet the coyotes would really love for that, so they can kill and eat them.

Are you suppose handle them so soon after they are bore like that? 15 mins. after the mom hasn't had a chance to do what she's suppose to do.

Yes, and most are only born if we are there to help mama deliver the babies by hand. We always let the moms lick the baby clean and we like the baby to get first milk as soon as possible. But, sometimes that is not what happens. In the wild, without people around to help a lot of babies are still born (dead) and somethings are stuck in the mom and both die. So, we help out goats when it comes to birthing. Thanks for watching and the question.

I've raised goats for almost 20 years. The best thing you can do is pick them up right away.

Good looking herd you have there. I just started goat farming myself and picked up a handsome little pure bred Boer Goat. Check out my channel if you get a chance. All the best.

Good luck, we started with Boer goats about 10 years ago and now we focus of African Dwarf. We have them for shows and breading. Search thru my videos where I have more goat related videos. Note, on your phone camera work, always hold phone in landscape, move slowly during taking the video and if you can set camera to 60fps. Thanks for watching, it looks like you have a good start (I watched your videos).

I have a few videos on my channel you can watch on bottle feeding. If we can not find goat milk we use cow milk at room temp. Get nipples (medium size and use a clean soda bottle. Here is a link to one of our videos: kzbin.info/www/bejne/kJLPmqp8ec2Hn6M
