3月6日からお母さんのモモコとの同居を開始。
3月11日にはお父さんのハオコとも同居を開始。
その後、群れの他のメンバーとも同居を開始。

1996年12月6日、オーストラリア・シドニー市のタロンガ動物園へ群れごと移動。

1983年6月3日にスペインで生まれる(?)。
1987年に来日し、有竹鳥獣店で飼育される。
1990年3月29日、千葉市動物公園へ来園。

2000年7月3日、モモタロウを出産。(父：ビジュ)
2002年7月8日、モモタロウも一緒に千葉市動物公園へ戻る。
2008年12月2日、モモタロウも一緒に上野動物園へ移動。
2009年11月14日、コモモを出産。(父：ハオコ)
2013年4月24日、モモカを出産。(父：ハオコ)
2016年10月12 日、出産。生後1時間の時点で死亡したと判断される。(父：ハオコ)

1999年7月9日、東京都恩賜上野動物園に来園。

Haoko was born on 21 August 1993, at Apenheul Primate Park in the Netherlands.
He was transferred to Taronga Zoo in Sydney, Australia along with the rest of his family on 6 December 1996.
He moved to Ueno Zoo on 27 June 2007.
●Momoko(female)
Momoko was born on 3 June 1983, in Spain (?).
In 1987 She moved to Japan and kept at Aritake.
On March 29, 1990 she moved to Chiba Zoological Park.
On July 27, 1999 she moved to Ueno Zoo.
On July 3, 2000 she gave birth to Momotarou whose father was Biju.
On July 8, 2002 she returns to Chiba Zoological Park with Momotarou.
On December 2, 2008 she moved to Ueno Zoological Gardens with Momotarou .
On November 14, 2009 she gave birth to Komomo whose father was Haoko.
On April 24, 2013 she gave birth to Momoka whose father was Haoko.
On October 12, 2016 she gave birth to but the baby died soon after.
On October 9, 2017 she gave birth to Riki whose father was Haoko.
● Toto(female)
Toto was born in around 1978, in Cameroon.
On September 8, 1979 she moved to Shizuoka Municipal Nihondaira Zoo.
On July 9, 1999 she moved to Ueno Zoo.
● Komomo (female)
Father : Haoko , Mother : Momoko
Komomo was born on 14 November 2009 at Ueno Zoo.
● Momoka (female)
Father : Haoko , Mother : Momoko
Momoka was born on 24 April 2013 at Ueno Zoo.

Riki was born on 9 October 2017 at Ueno Zoo.
●Sumomo (female)
Father : Haoko , Mother : Momoko
Sumomo was born on 31 May 2022 at Ueno Zoo.

Komomo is a very careful older sister 😊, she has the experienced because Momoka and Riki are also taken care by her in their baby time, she will be a good mother in the future 😚, Momoka is relatively less patient 😅. Baby Sumomo looks so cute 😍

Awwwwwwwwwesome sweet Komomo was helping her mom out with her baby sister and it very good for her to know as much as possible because one day she know what to do with her very own baby… And mom wasn’t chasing her like she stole her baby sister mom just needed 5 minutes of me time 😇😇😇

Love seeing her with her Momma. Mom is 39 , She’s tired. Had Baby later in age. Just like humans. It’s harder on body when that age. No wonder she had a hard time with this precious baby. Thank God she and baby are happy and healthy now. Love this beautiful family.

I guess the keepers are still giving her a bottle and extra food. Like Gentaro was . It’s amazing how smart these animals are and can be trained to bring baby over to keepers for her feeding. I wish they had videos of that. It was so cute seeing Genki bringing Gentaro to the room for feeding. She ate too, 😂😂❤

SUMOMO ficou uma bebê linda e gordinha ,🥰🍼😘...Não vejo a hora dela começar a andar e ser independente pra correr e pular pra lá e pra cá.. Só gosto de ver komomo cuidando dela porque komomo cuidar dea irmãzinha com o maior amor e carinho...já Momoka não tem jeito pra pegar na irmã e é toda desastradas, e a mãe da bebê Sumomo percebe-se que ela não tem muito carinho com a filha bebê...😕...Adoro quando vocês postam vídeos de como está Sumomo com a família...❤️😘

After the birth of Sumomo, her mom was found to be very ill and anemic. I believe she was found to also have a bacterial infection. Sumomo also did not suckle the first 14 hrs after birth because her dad Haoko wouldn't allow the keepers near her. He stood guard for all that time. Sumomo had to be hand raised and separated from the family. However the family including mom Momoko were allowed to see and smell her everyday. Momoko took a long while to heal. Again she and the family were allowed to interact everyday, and to eventually learn how to bring the baby to a feeding station to receive milk. Sumomo has also started to eat some solids. This has been a long process. From what I have read and seen a period of 9 to 12 months is not unusual. This is why we are all excited for her return to the family and that both mom and baby are safe and healthy. The zoo keepers and vets have done a stupendous job. And Sumomo couldn't be in a better family. Haoko the silverback and mom Momoko are experienced parents, and the siblings are used to and eager to babysit. Sorry for the long answer but I hope it helps in your understanding the joy we all feel.

Shabani and Haoko are bothers, and Momotaro is just so handsome (lol as you can see I love that big guy) but I think Shabani is the biggest he is over 435 pounds, Momotaro has been called one of the smaller silver backs.. But I live in the USA and the videos you really can’t tell.
