Going to be cared for by the sanctuary, or find a surrogate mother at a zoo. In a sanctuary, he will be raised by humans, taught gorilla behaviors, foraging for himself, and set free in the wild. In a zoo, he will be nurtured by a surrogate mother (they are very close to their mothers, and this is very important), introduced to the rest of his new troup, and learn from the Silverback when he is older, by playing (that teaches him how to defend himself), and be alert over his own troup someday. People have issues with zoos, I get that. But since they are endangered out in the wild, I would prefer a zoo, where they are cared for medically, as adult males tend to have heart issues. They are given their food scattered all over that encourages foraging for food. Also, they have enrichment.
