I have the same stroller and same problem except no tools nor space to fabricate the new wheels. Would you consider making another set for a fee?Figured I’d ask as we love the stroller for our two kids but agree the front wheels are undersized for the stroller weight.

I would like to help you out man, but I have no time right now. You really only need a dremmel to do this mod, so if you know anybody that has one, just show them this video and they can probably do it.

Great vid. You took yours to the next level. I went with partial upgrade. For those interested in just a wheels upgrade + bonus adult scooter to enjoy when kids are older, see below. Man they are Infuriating wheels, no tire replacement, no just wheel replacement, all a rip off to boot. Tldr: 8” scooter wheels fit the existing wheel assy forks. You can buy cheap PU ones. Or upgrade like I did with pneumatic ones. Razor A5 Air is almost a straight swap. And such a significant improvement in ride quality - kerbs/rough terrain fogettabouit. How to do it: ID inside diameter, OD outside, BJ baby jogger. 8” wheels typically come with 608 bearings, M8 (8mm) bearing ID (axle OD). The scooter axle bolts will be too short (if coming off a sacrificial scooter). Buy: - two M8 x80mm shank threaded to 90mm. If you are in NA 5/16” x3.5” works too - and what I used. - 2 x lock nuts - 4 washers same ID (OD not important don’t go crazy) - Another 4 washers same ID with OD matching the existing washers on the stroller axle screws. Or drill those out using 8mm drill bit. You will need scooter/skate axle spacers too. Again the razor A5 air has 4 of them perfect for this job. 2 shorter ones and 2 longer ones. A little electrical tape around the outside bulked the spaces up to fit a little more snug in the stroller fork holes. Assy: From left to right: Bolt, small washer, larger scooter spacer, through left wheel fork, BJ plastic wheel spacer, large washer, left bearing, wheel, right bearing, large washer, BJ spacer, out the right side of fork, small scooter spacer, small washer, lock nut. Tighten it all up you can back off a little if not as free to spin, the nylon lock nut makes this easy. You can probably get away without the scooter spacers too. Just wrap electrical tape around the bolt in the right locations. Or buy some 8mm ID tube and cut to length. And after all this I will have a scooter to use in a year when this is redundant!! In retrospect, neoprene (wetsuit) repair adhesive, or a polyurethane calking gun outdoor adhesive could have repaired the crappy wheels. 😅 but not the ride quality. So I guess I’ll be doing that when we pass this stroller on, I’m taking my scooter wheels back 😮. Hats off to you @BustaRiley we’ve already had this 2nd hand stroller for 4yrs on the tail end of its use for us. But if I was starting out again I would shoot for the full upgrade. That being said other than crappy “tires” that disintegrate, it’s a well built stroller.
