3 Texels, but what's the black & white lamb? Also all sheep by law must be ear tagged to ensure farm to dinner plate traceability.

Sheep are like humans. When they're babies they play, jump, run... but when they grow up they go through "education", they slow down and start being The Sheep. They're just there. TV anyone? :)

Good Questions! Myself I am not a farmer. I looked it up:This clip has been made in 2010, 5th of March. Since 2007, May 1th docking of Texel sheep (race) tails is forbidden in Holland. For lambs born after 2010, Januar 1th yellow plastic tagging of lambs is also forbidden in Holland (I see "illegal" green tags; transition time?). Only electronic tagging is allowed for lambs since 2010-1-1.

+Christy Tan Plenty of us have pierced ears....gauges...septums... We have tagged thousands of lambs. Now and then one lamb may have a adverse reaction, just like in the human world, so we treat the ear. If their ears were hurting as some have claimed below these lambs would be down and surely not leaping and jumping, very happily in this film.
