Brilliant video, I have had my Gloria in the cupboard for a year, having just moved, so I had forgotten all of the features.

How do you determine how to cut a 3/8" seam or any seam for that matter?

Adjusting stitch width and seam allowance for accurate sewing. To begin, select your desired stitch width and mark the seam allowance on your fabric - a brief line will suffice. Align the marked line with the furthest left needle marking on the foot that you’re using, then refer to the guide lines on the right to line up the edge of your fabric. If the lines are difficult to see, place a piece of masking tape below them and draw a more visible line to follow. For a 3/8" seam allowance, use the maximum stitch width (7.5mm) and a 4 thread overlock stitch. The edge of the plate can be used as a guide, trimming 2mm off the fabric edge to leave a 7.5mm seam. Although the seam itself is narrower, the left needle placement ensures a perfect 3/8" seam allowance.

It’s called Gloria in Europe, and Triumph in North America. Interesting. I looooove my Triumph.

@@sewingintrifocals-alisonde7778 I love my Triumph too but extremely annoyed that for a $6k machine, Baby Lock couldn't even include a trash bin holder. You'd have to buy that separately. Now that I have the Koala Serger Center, it comes with a trash chute.

With respect it didn’t reduce it from 10 to 5 inch there was only a slight gather. Why was this?
