I am searching for a video for the first time users on the Solaris. The videos I have watched seem to compare the Destiny 11 and the Solaris. Are there any videos or instructions not comparing the two and just focusing on the Solaris?

I hope he does. For a 2 hour video he just speeds right through it, too fast to follow along in my new Solaris at all. His videos really helped me with my Ellisimo Gold II. Doesn't have much nice to say about the Destiny in this video.

Which needle plate can I use for sewing & embroidery? What is the difference between the 2 plates? When do I change them out & how do I tell the difference, I’ve only looked at them a few seconds but they look the same? Thank you

One has a single small hole for straight stitch only. Helps if your fabric gets stuck in the plate sewing delicate stuff. Use the other one for regular sewing and embroidery.

I had an Ellisimo Gold and just bought the Solaris II. I’m totally lost and not close to any dealer for classes. Which videos would you suggest I start with to learn my machine! So much of what you talked about I was clueless. And you go way to fast for me. In other words...help!

Me, too. I had my Ellisimo Gold II & never really learned everything I thought that for a 2 hour video there would be more actual instruction. He flew througb the buttons at full speed. I'm really totally lost. I have free lessons with my machine, but its too heavy to be moving around

every baby lock/brother embroidery machine ever made has had a gap on top of the embroidery unit, this one doesn't.

The rail is inside the bed if the bed. That's what he meant. There is a slot in the top that allows the embroidery unit to move back & forth. The Solaris has the slot on the edge
