Seems to me that his mother was trying to dump him (unsuccessfully, I might add). Although I live in a trailer that has been heavily damaged by rats, I think they're no match for the damage monkeys will cause, judging by how may wires got pulled out in just two and a half minutes.. Glad we don't have monkeys here!

It's honestly most likely the poor things own mothers blood .. That would explain why he's frantically looking for her and I can't imagine it's mom would abandon it randomly and it's rare for them to lose their mom's like this so my guess is someone most likely killed her and this baby got away somehow

He’s about 9-10 months old. Weaning age depends almost entirely on the mother having another baby. If there is no sibling after the first year it’s not uncommon for weaning to not take place until the second year.
