He was mostly unsure about the baby snake, a ball python. overall ollie is a happy monkey and very curious to boot. Ollie did really well on his first outing in the big wide world! He was scared, but I thought he calmed down pretty well and then only seemed alarmed by "stranger danger" (and snakes🐍!) He seemed very fascinated by the parakeets! The kitties seemed to interest him too, they wanted to smell him more than eat him, they were just as fascinated by him!🐱 Loved him snacking on the cricket, his process, pulling off the head, then eating🙉 is so cute! He is a gourmand! LOL! Great to be able to see his first retail adventure, thanks so much for sharing it with us!💕🚗🐒

I enjoyed the fact of the day too, i should do that again once everything settles around here. oLLie does well out and about after he adjusts to all the external stimuli. I think you are doing a great thing for Ollie Luke, getting the little baby use to what life is like outside yours and Pete's houses...and i know the more time Ollie gets use to going outside then i know he'll be as calm and relaxed as boo. he did well for his first time but i can imagine every time Ollie did his Alarm call people in the store were probably thinking "what the (you know) was that?" or jumping out of their skin... but i can imagine ollie is looking around thinking "what can i jump on to?" but why did you change your outro Luke? if its because of idiots then ignore those special snowflakes. you are very unique, creative and a cool guy Luke.. if my compliments have made your day a little better then ive done my job.

Instinctual for a tiny monkey to know that he would be a snack for a snake. I feel the same way about snakes; scary creatures. I visited a reptile sanctuary a couple of years ago and the python they had there was so large, it needed an entire room to curl up in. No cage, no barrier; I was out of that place as fast as my legs would carry me. Yikes. It was massive. People get them and then they grow to the size of several elephants and they give them up - live out their lives under a sun lamp in a big room. Ugh.

Ollie The Monkey I have to say I would be quiet and I would ask to pet. Do prime mates like to smell hand first and do they like under chin or top of head?

Each primate is different. I have seen squirrel monkey that enjoy head pets are ticklish etc, where oLLie ONLY likes to be pet at his leisure. Once his leg goes out and he squawkin away if the person slowly introduces their hand he does smell it and lick it lol if he is really comfy he will try n play fight. just depends on multiple factors from emvironment to his general mood even 🤗🐒❤️
