Totally agree. They're an animal/species that I don't know much about, but I swear there have been a couple of videos of adult moose going "mano-a-mano"...or, how do you say ..."hoof-to-hoof"...where I'm certain when, based off of a few reference points in these videos, that both of these adult male moose had legs that were equal to, or just short of, about 6-1/2' in height. That first moment of seeing it, but then realizing how it actually looks in real-life, was quite a moment of realization. As some folks say, that was a 'reveal' to me, and one that caught me off guard, even though, all along I've known that they were exceptionally tall animals.

Too bad people hunt beautiful creatures like these. Especially when it's just for the rush of taking a life, and not for food.
@MultiPurposeReviewer8 жыл бұрын
I gently support hunting, but only for food. I understand that some people really do need it to survive. I believe there are laws in place that say you can't shoot the calves or the mothers; only the bucks.
@lexthequeer8 жыл бұрын
I agree. Additionally, I think it's healthy for the overall ecosystem to have some percentage of our population hunting, but it should remain a very small percentage since we've reduced wild animal populations so much already!
@MultiPurposeReviewer8 жыл бұрын
Elizabeth King Yeah, if anything, they should be hunting US, that way the balance would even out a bit.

Moose are one of the most dangerous animals in Alaska, and cause quite a few deaths, i don't know any specific numbers, but i'm sure they kill their fair share of humans, same thing with Bears in that area
@xLoveeAnimalsx8 жыл бұрын
TheDJSnowKat I don't care. They are in their natural habitats. Humans think that they can just take over every place they want. Part of the reason why we are able to live is due to this earth and nature and ecosystem. We can't just go wherever we want and kill the dangers in those areas. Meanwhile I am sure most people don't have that in mind when they hunt. They just want to kill.
