I love how you chose his name! My oldest is Hunter Ray, and we named him the same way - boy or girl the name was Hunter Ray/Rae. We decided while laying in bed when my husband said "What do you think of Hunter?" I knew that was his name as soon as he said it!

Your story is so similar to mine 😩 I got pregnant last year unexpectedly and wasn’t very happy. Then I had a miscarriage and suddenly realized how badly that baby was wanted. I had 3 boys already and prayed for a daughter and just gave birth to my baby girl on august 9th 🤍

Before I was even pregnant my neighbor prophesied over me and told me the Lord said I would be pregnant again and have a son. A few weeks before that as I was gardening I heard the name Matthew 💙 I LOVE when names are given through the Lord to the parents. It’s absolutely beautiful! Love his name! 💙

Which I love bc he’s our last baby so he’s going out with a bang. In combination with his first name his full name means “Yahweh is my salvation and helper, who is like my God?”

I love his name. If you had chosen the other option he would have shared a name with one of the Duggar grandsons. I like your choice better. It seems fitting and is a great choice. I am getting my 1st grandson soon. My only child, a daughter named Hayley, who just turned 30 is 37.5 weeks pregnant. She went today to the doctor and is 50% effaced and dilated to a 2. She is actually due Sept 11th. She has had 7 previous miscarriages and 2 still born daughters due to premature Labor. This pregnancy has gone great and baby boy looks great. They have chosen not to share his name until they introduce him to family and friends. They had a teal blue gown made with his name on it. I cannot wait to hear what they have chosen.

Precious name!!! So perfect for him. Was he born on the 17th? I was never really sure, although I know Jonathan said the time. Can't wait to hear the birth story and more. So glad for your family! (We had 3 boys, then two miscarriages, then a daughter. When I was pregnant with her, I know what it's like to yearn for the other gender but also to be totally okay with having the same that you already have. It's been so fun having a daughter after boys. Also, I wonder if the dream Jon had about two babies, one was this baby boy and the other was the little baby you lost? In some ways, it makes me think the baby you lost got the blessing of naming this baby boy, since she said it in the dream. Just a thought. Sorry for your loss, but such beauty from ashes.)

I love the name. Whilst researching my family tree I found quite a few ancestors in the 18th and 19th century that had the same name. You could have always had the two middle names, I have two middle names and so does my son.

Congratulations on such a precious angel! I love that you shared the story behind his name. Israel is such an awesome name for so many reasons. About 2 weeks before I found out that I was pregnant with my oldest son, I had a dream that I was chasing a toddler boy around our front yard and I knew he was my son & I was calling him Noah. A few weeks later I found out that I was pregnant and I knew with all my heart he was a boy and his name was supposed to be Noah. God speaks to us in such incredible ways sometimes. On a side note I have a nephew named David, who is expecting a little brother in Feb. '22, and his name will be Johnathan! GOD bless!

I just found your channel. I had 3 babies go to heaven before we had our rainbow, Samuel David. My husband absolutely wanted another boy so so badly (he had 2 adult sons). We had 2 girls after and felt 100% done. Actually we felt don't after Samuel. Then after our 3rd together we felt so complete. Then I got pregnant by surprise when our 3rd was 5 months old. It was a shock and I was a bit freaked. Then I got attached and then we had a miscarriage. Now I feel the same, like we need another, but we're older and I think we've decided to be done again. I have 5 girls and my last baby who is 9 months now, we waited until birth to find out. And it was a boy. We named him Silas. I didn’t know what his name would be because I hadn’t been able to pick one, but once I saw his face the name Silas popped into my head. Congratulations! God is so good!!!!! We have the opposite family- we had 5 boys in a row and then God Blessed us with a baby girl. We thought it was the perfect ending to our family. We thought for sure out family was complete. And then, a few years later we were surprised with one more boy! (6 boys, 1 girl total). Our Boy # 5 is also named Israel and my husband received that name in a dream as well during my pregnancy!!!! God loves the name Israel! God Bless Baby Israel! “May God Prevail”

I love his name. His first name was what we were naming our 2nd son's 2nd middle name (1st son has 2 middle names), but the person filling out the birth certificate paperwork at the hospital didn't write it down when I told her his name. And I didn't know how to change it at the time.

What a beautiful story! 💓 I also have a God talking to me story about the baby growing in my belly 💓 While I was reading the bible at the kitchen table He stopped me & told me I was going to have a little girl and the name I had been thinking of naming a girl popped into my head and I felt love wash over me, like "that's her name I approve". I thought He meant I had just gotten pregnant so when I had my period as normal that month I was DEVASTATED. Then the next month we tried and conceived our baby. Now we still don't 'know' the gender, it's not confirmed, but I am certain it's a girl & of what her name is! I can't wait till she's older and I can share her beautiful story with her.
