I really liked a lot of these names! (Julia, Ivy, Phoenix) I also prefer names that are more simple but unique. I also am not a huge fan of nicknames but my husband loves them so I keep one or two in mind when thinking of names. Also love the meaning of Darcy’s name and it would be cool if she inherited her dad’s darker features 💕

I love all your name choices! We are English and sometimes I find that US baby name lists are just too 'out there' for our tastes. I think your choices are perfect though. I have friends whose kids are Phoenix, Darcy, Eleanor, Esther, Hazel and Sloane. And I know a few Brodys. I work at a preschool also. Actually a few of each. I know a Julie (I also had a friend growing up named Julianne) and I thought about it. My hubby and I are Catholic (he's Italian) and our kids are all named for family members. I actually like it, it feels like there is a lot of meaning behind their names. And our families really like it too.those are the kind of names that aren't used as much lately. My middle daughter is Electra (first name) she is the only one so far with a nick name. We also wanted to give them really strong names, and with a last name like DelTorchio, something like Casey just didn't go (it was one I liked).
