I also love “great-grandparent” names. Here are a few from our list: Vaughan, Clara/Claire, Evelyn, Emory, Magnolia, and Emmeline. My great grandmother’s name was Ruby Olive. She hated it!… I like it. Especially, Olive! Olivia and Oliver are common BUT Olive. Simple and non-gendered. Choosing names is such a personal process. I’m sure you both put a ton of thought and care into naming your little bundles of joy. Congratulations!

Allie saying "people are gonna feel bad if their names are these" after Sam saying how Allie hated a name was just soooo canadian and cute I couldn't hold a little laugh hahaha . And I was sooo in sync with Allie with the girl names, except with Flora, wich I think is very lovely and sounds better in Brazil. I'd love to name my daughter Flora if it's popularity hadn't grown so much. Also, I totally relate with the fact that If I know anyone with a name, I will remember the person and my baby should have another name. I'm very picky as well, I know haha . I loved the video and I totally respect the fact you want to respect the babies privacy, but I'm the kind of person who seeks for closure in everything I can (don't worry, I go to therapy every week) and knowing that we'll not know their name gives me chills a little hahahahah Specially because here in Brazil I don't know any content creators that choose this path with their kids. . . But I reenforce, I honestly respect your decision and believe it's so amazing you two as moms are giving your kids the right to their privacy and choice to decide if they want to share their names when they grow up. . I didn't understand it the way that they want to keep their names secret for privacy reasons. What I got is that they won't tell anyone the names until the babies are already born so that nobody can prejudge them and discuss their choice with them.

If I had to guess some options for your twins' names, I'd guess maybe you'll give them names that are a twist on Fred and George Weasley from the Harry Potter series (since Sam loves the series so much): So for George maybe you'd go with a name like Georgia, Georgina, Georgie, Georgette, Georgiana, Geoffrey And for Fred, maybe you'd go with a name like Frank, Frankie, Francine, Frasier, Freya

Love the names mentioned in the video. It is problematic though to name a child the same name as a family member or a pet. Btw. Elanor is pronounce exactly the way Sam said. When we thought about a name for our child, we were searching for international names that can be used almost everywhere around the world. We named our son Daniel Jakob, the middle name after my grandfather. Names like Richard, Philip, Anna (or Anne), Danielle or Stefanie (Steph) were also an option.

Fun fact: I was almost an elanor, it’s a family name and my nickname would have been Ellie, but my name turned out to be Theron. It’s Greek for hunter and a family name and I honestly love my name ❤️, it’s pronounced like sharon or Aaron but with a “th”. My moms name is Laurel which I also think is really pretty :)

You should definitely watch/read Matilda, Sam; Roald Dahl is a genius writer & the movie adaptation of Matilda is amazing & hilarious. Roald Dahl's "The Witches is also being made into/a=already a movie. His "The BFG" (Big Friendly Giant) was also an amazing, hilarious book & the movie adaptation a few years back was also pretty funny too. Our family has Welsh backgrounds so my brother chose Celtic names for his children. The youngest boy loves his nane especially because it has no vowels in it. One word of advice, watch the initials, I know a couple of people who have embarrassing or awkward initials. For example Mark Richard for a boy means they sign their name Mr. (Mister). I know someone with this and he says people think he is being stand-offish by not giving his first name.
