Great setup! Having the front plow on loader arms, you can pile up snow without any problem! I think you had an icy frozen base under that snow isn't it? Are your rear tires loaded? Thanks for sharing!

A lot of ice! It seems like that is the theme this winter. And, yes I have my loaded tires on with 180lbs of chain too!. I need two people just to roll them when their off.

I know what you mean. I did a brake job 4-5 years ago on the Case and I had to remove the rear tires (loaded). I had a very short distance to roll them and it was a bit scary! Yours are just bigger!

Do you have regular snow plow power angle cylinders attached? The kind with only one hydraulic line. Are they connected their own individual remotes? I'm looking to add them to my plow and just run the two lines back to the rear remotes on my tractor and use the lever next to the seat to adjust the angle. Some people have told me that it won't work and will bind up the cylinders.

How do you like the SOS trans for loader worker? I have ford 6000 with the sos & I'm thinking about putting a loader on it.

I LOVE the SOS trans!! It is great for all of my work including loader work. Reverse is a little jerky if you let off the inching pedal to quickly but other than that I have a SOS that was meticulously cared for. Not the original one that i bought the tractor with, that one was trashed. Owner ran it dry and broke off the inching pedal so he was jamming through speeds. Also the filter was so old it had dissolved i.e. gone.

Thank you for the response. I've completely gone through mine. It operates perfect. Took abit to get shift cable adjusted properly so pointer was correct. I'll have to start looking into a loader.

I have yet operate the PTO. This summer I plan on getting a rear finish mower. However, I need to check that the PTO works first and before I can do that I need to find a PTO cable. Mine is missing. Do you know where a good place to find one is? And, do you use yours? Does it work nicely?

I run a 7' bushhog on mine & other implement's. I've never had any issues with the pto. The only issue I've had is with a lever that changes the pto between rpm & ground speed. It was in the neutral position when I bought the tractor, so the pto wouldn't work. There's a tractor part's site, tractorhouseparts.com That's where I've found most of my parts. I've found some stuff on ebay also.

My Old Tractor Steiner tractor. com is another place that’s good for having parts for older tractors. They can be a bit pricey though.
