Last night I had a dream about an octopus making an attempt on the life of one of my close friends, so now I’m actively incorporating octopus into my diet for the next few weeks as a show of dominance against any menacing cephalopods.

Omg! I love this! What a great post! On such a gloomy day here in Sydney on Covid house arrest for the last 12 week, this post gave me some me laugher! Thank you , and happy devouring of octopus!

Great vid ! How come some videos say to boil them for only 30 seconds? I like how you simmered them after boiling for 15 minutes. Because I want to make sure all the bacteria is destroyed from the seafood. Is that why you simmered them that long? Please help.

Hi Yo. By firstly boiling the octopus you are initially cooking it to begin with. When you drain it and add it to the frying pan, this is done so it can collect the flavours in the pan and gives it that slightly crunchier texture. Hope this helps
