*This is the zoo with permission for zoo and otter care facilities. We are keeping otters legally. I am an otter keeper in a aquarium and zoo for four years. I've been running this zoo for 4 years now.

This is a truly heavenly experience for Grandpa in the pool! All of the playful baby otters are exploring Grandpa's hair and clothing; and, they are able to swim at his knee level rather then just running around his feet now. They can swim to his hands too. This makes a fantastic new experience to enjoy and learn from. This encounter will likely benefit the babies to become comfortable with people just as it did for Mocha when she would play on Grandpa as she was growing up. This was good to see. The baby otters had such endearing expressions on all of their little faces. And later, when Mocha is ashamed to see her grandfather splashing around playfully in the pool, she guides the children away from the embarrassing sight of their beloved grandfather she believes to be behaving foolishly. Maybe Mocha thought her Grandfather was ill, or suddenly did not appear to know how to swim and therefore looked silly? 💦It was clearer figuring out the size of the new indoor pool through this video after watching 🤪🥰😍Grandpa's body size in the pool. Interesting. ?Questions?: 🗨I believe the underwater stairs might be easier and helpful to see by the otters if they were painted a slightly different shade on the stair tops so that they are a different color from the bottom an the sides of the pool.
