I did my sons nursery in black and white, and have Christmas lights around the top of his room 😂. My husband told me his room looked boring, so I had to explain to him how stimulating those things are to his little baby brain. I’m so excited to watch him grow and develop when he gets here in about a week ❤️

I’m glad I’ve been doing most of these with my second baby as I did with my first…something I had no idea was that sneezing is a sign of overstimulation! It makes so much sense since she always sneezes after a long period of activity. Thanks for this video and that tip!

I had really started to hit a dead end and run out of ideas of how to interact with my.son as he reached that one month mark, and this has introduced some new activities I think he will really like! I tend to be a very reserved person so showing sincere exaggerated faces and emotions to him is something I am struggling to get comfortable with. The positivity of this video really encouraged me to keep at it and not give up.

I am brazilian and also an english teacher, so I have decided that I will speak only in english with her, and her mother will do it in portuguese, I hope that this help her to lern both languages at once. I have a 2.5 week old, and I cant leave her out of her swaddle for more than 3 min before she gets upset 😂. She flails a lot and constantly startles herself. Hopefully I can do more of this as she gets older! I'd love to actually let her stretch/touch things. Such good ideas tho!

Oh I miss those days. I have a 2 yr. Old GD and another GD being born in Sept. I love holding them alittlr nervous in the begining, but it goes away and I'm enjoying it so much.They r so tiny and precious. I also have a 10 yr. Old GS. They grow up so fast so enjoy them now

Interesting! Can't wait to try with my baby. But what if the baby would like to play at midnight? Should we play with them or ask them to sleep (which hard to do since the baby is fresh and doesn't give any signs of tired)

Congratulations on the new baby! If it were me, I would try to keep the play to the day time hours. It takes a week or so for the baby to align their schedule to the regular world. Keep things light and bright in the day and keep it dark and quiet throughout the night. They will get the flow soon enough :)
