Baby Potato Curry / Dum Aloo
Baby Potato Curry is a rich, thick, creamy curry made with Tomato-onion paste, cashew paste and thick yogurt and malai . This delicious recipe is a famous Indian style curry made in many ways in different parts of the world. Today, I’m sharing my favorite version which is simple and easy to prepare.

300 g Baby Potato
1 Bay leaf
2 Cardamoms
1 Tsp Turmeric powder
1 Red chilli powder
1 Tsp Sugar
Salt to taste
Coriander leaves for garnishing
For Onion paste :-
1 Tsp Oil
1 Tbsp Clarified butter/ Ghee

1 Onion
3 Tomatoes
1 Inch Ginger
6-8 Garlic
3 Green chilies
For Cashew Paste :-
2 Tbsp Cashew nuts
1 Tbsp Poppy seeds
1 Tbsp Melon seeds
12- 15 Raisins
For special Whole spices Masala Powder
1 Bay leaf
1 Inch Cinnamon
3 Cloves
5-6 Black pepper
2 Cardamom
Small piece of star anise and Nutmeg
1 Tsp Cumin seeds
1 Tsp Fennel seeds
Curd and Malai paste :-
1 Tbsp fresh curd
1 Tbsp fresh malai
For tempering :-
1 Tbsp Clarified butter/ Ghee
1 Tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder
1 Tbsp Kasuri methi/ Dried Fenugreek leaves
