I will say the stroller I got one that is essentially the same thing by Evenflo stroller, it came with a carpet, bassinet and the stroller and it was like 250 at Walmart so if you want the same thing but can afford the 1000 for the one they have its a great option!

I also have the even flow but never cared about a bassinet so I have the one that’s just a stroller and lays flat for 70 and when it comes to a car seat the convertible kind is the way to go cause it’s the only car seat they’ll ever need.

I love how different every parent and caregiver have reacted to their list! I don’t think we’ve used any of the stuff in your list! Except a breast pump. Used a stiff body pillow to nurse each of my kids. No covers, we all overheat too easily. None of them ever took a bottle, so not bottles or warmer. They nursed or when they were old enough took a regular little cup of BM. No sippy cups either. We didn’t bother with a stroller of any form, used an Ergo carrier for everything. No bouncers, no swings, no playmates at all. Just a thick blanket on our hardwood floors and a body length mirror to look at themselves. No bassinets or playpens. We did just the mattress on the floor. No changing pads or diaper pails either. We cloth diapered so we have a few a travel size wet bags and a couple of large hanging ones for at a home. Same diapers for all three kids from birth to potty training too. But you know what, I see the value and use for each of these items and still enjoy seeing how other parents enjoy them! Plus I adore your little family so much 💜💜💜

Exactly! A play mat of 100+ dollars. I used a throw blanket that I already had. Ppl buy into the hype and they also want the designer stuff to show for status. So having these videos are good to have.

The most expensive thing about babies are diapers definitely and clothes(even if you buy used) but the clothes to be honest is because they grow out of clothes so fast

Agree 💯%! I used a swing, bouncy chair and rock n play for them to sleep in, until they went into the crib. I was gifted a play mat, but my kids out grew it fast. There is no way I would ever pay $100 for a play mat. Besides, your baby will NEVER remember the toys/activities they used.

I admit I never tried another type of breastfeeding pillow even though as years went by there were more options. I just saw it as, if it's not broke don't fix it. I have a 15 month old and I have some thoughts. You might start to notice a change in the smell situation with the Ubbi once Grace starts eating solids. We still LOVE our Ubbi and you can't smell anything when it's closed up but when you open it to put the next diaper in, you'll get some smell. From what I understand, that's just standard with all diaper pails. The real food poops are just too strong. I didn't use my milk snob covers much either early on (really only if I was taking my baby into the doctor's office because covid) but now I use them a lot as restaurant high chair covers. I turn the whole thing inside out then stick the small end in where the kid's feet go then pull the wider end over the outside of the high chair and clip the edges together underneath the seat with a binder clip. You can use them as covers for the kid chair portion of a shopping cart too (although my kid won't be going into a store until he gets his vaccine - covid spread is still too prevalent in my area for my comfort level). I also think it's so interesting how different people end up breastfeeding. I used a boppy RELIGIOUSLY up until my baby was around a year old. We ended up buying 2 and having one that lived in the nursery and one that initially moved between the living room and our bedroom and eventually ended up exclusively in the living room. My baby was also pretty big and it got difficult for me to hold him up to the breast with one hand almost immediately so with the boppy I could hold my breast in one hand and then just rest the other hand on his back (or, let's be real, holding my phone) while he laid on his side to eat. Now my baby mostly sits up in my lap with one leg on either side of my torso (koala position) but we still use the boppy for those rare middle of the night feeds so he can go back to sleep at the breast. I also exclusively breastfeed cross-legged. I can't do it any other way 🤷

The Bobby pillow can be used as baby gets older also for support while they sit and as another form of tummy time.

Curious to see if your thoughts on the boppy pillow changes as Grace gets older. It can be used for tummy time, helping her sit up, feed herself, and it’s incredibly comfortable to lay on as the caregiver when getting on the ground with little ones. I also use it to protect around furniture legs since my nanny babies are rolling around a bit more.

I am thinking I am going to need Stephens rating on ALL the THINGS going forward. Amazing takes and such a great video.

You should totally look into the car seat canopy. It Velcro’s on to the handle on their car seat and can flip up and down like a blanket so it’s easy, it has a thicker outer material but is still soft on the inside. You never drop or forget it because it stays on the seat and is honestly super convenient.

Omg I loved this video so much! Love hearing both of your perspectives on the baby items! I want to play this with my husband just by ourselves for our own entertainment 😂 my son is 3 now. My favorite baby item I would rate 10/10 would be our Hatch baby rest night light/sound machine! We’ve used it since day 1 and still do! 🤍

Love your videos! I am a professional nanny, the boppy pillow you will probably use a lot more when Grace is learning to sit up! That’s what I mostly use it for. But also just any pillow behind her will do lol
