@@blessedbeauty2293 No, I’m not in any of the videos. We had a Mama raccoon decide that under our roof was a good place to have her babies. Gates put a door she could exit, but not re-enter. She had babies in there, and tore a hole in the roof to get them. Gates took away the door to let her get her babies (they were between the roof and the ceiling) so they were hard to find and get to. We had already contracted for new shingles, so it wasn’t a disaster. The second round was a VERY determined boy raccoon, who used his weight to remove a piece of soffit to get in. He was very clever to figure out how to do that. He got the exit only door, and as we had put a new roof on, he had to find a different den for himself. I used to care for orphaned baby wildlife, and injured ones until they could be released into the wild. My favourites were the raccoons and skunks.🖤🇨🇦

I’m as old as the ceo there. Good on him, he still can make it into the attic 🫡

That was a very smart Mum, and 4 sweet little babies, she made a great nest in the attic for them. All those crossbeams make the attic a real labyrinth to get through. That is quite the hole she made in the roof, talk about determination. Good rescue job.🖤🇨🇦

Considering the wind she should have curled up in the box with them and waited for better weather. The box was perfectly convenient for her. I remember when another mom made that decision!

Interesting seeing the holes they dig in the insulation. I had one make it's home in the attic above my bedroom and was woken up multiple times early in the morning by the scratching at the insulation and drywall. Also had another do the same near our mudroom between our kitchen and garage, and heard it scratching there too. After we got them all removed and had protections installed to prevent them from re-entering, I installed a camera in the attic above the mudroom. I can clearly see the hole that was being dug in the insulation in the mudroom from that camera's vantage point. Have seen no more residents move in since getting the protections and camera installed. This was last year around this time.

What a mess they make. Does the owner have to do anything about the damaged insulation? Is that a health hazard?

These camera shots are getting good. The shot of the extension cord running all the way to the box made me smile. Oh please out the time back in the night camera. I like seeing how long they take with each baby. So far it seems they take longer to come back for the second baby (maybe setup time?). Hey great stuff. I see you putting in that creative effort. ✊🏽😎

Doesnt insulation irritate their skin and eyes? Or YOUR skin and eyes?

When you find an infestation in a residence, are you required by law to report it to the local government? I can see where the government would want to know where the animals are active, entering homes, etc. It would be that way south of the 49th. You produce good videos. Keep 'em coming!

Raccoons are so prevalent in Canadian cities there is no need to report, you just call Gates. There are other services, but Gates is the most humane, I have used them twice, and wouldn’t call anyone else. Our raccoons in Toronto have even been seen using the subway to get around, they are very smart.🖤🇨🇦

This might not be fiberglass insulation but I’ve put the pink fiberglass in our house and the prickling in my skin is agony. Why do animals choose to next in that god awful material? Also not healthy for their lungs but they wouldn’t know that. Wonder why they don’t feel prickly glass in their skin when they choose to nest in fiberglass insulation?

It's the equality they always wanted. Now they just need to sign up for the draft so that men can take over softball games while the women go to war. I'm ok with that too.
