Tiny bumps on the forehead are often to do with poor digestion, or just any digestion issues (also in chinese face mapping)! I used to have them a lot and my dermatologist told me to address that, with warm water with honey and lemon in the morning before eating and soups eaten more often. You might want to consider that! I hope that might help. Skin is so complex and is a mirror of our inside health, dermatologists often fail to tell us that and just pile creams on. And Delilah is just as lovely as ever, such an adorable child!

The skin care she gave you is all the same things the doctor would have prescribed. I would expect more from a dermatologist! Doctors messed with my skin for years. I went to see Caroline hirons and she help me more in an hour than any medical intervention ever did. I have greasy acne prone skin but I would never not moistures, dehydrated skin will create more sebum to compensate. I hope you'll get a second opinion. Loving these vlogs :)

Hi Rhiannon, a good way to help D steady herself when walking, instead of holding her hands in the air, keep hold of her hips then slowly let go, otherwise she is learning to balance herself with her hands in the air. Either way she will get there eventually!

Rhiannon, could I maybe suggest something for your skin in lieu of a 'moisturiser'? Rose hip oil. It's a god send. Keeps me moisturised, I don't over produce oil and keeps my acne at bay.

id maybe get a second opinion about your skin cause what your dermatologist has recommended seems odd, especially the no moisturiser thing! i have dry dehydrated skin, and bumpy spots on my forehead, so i started using hyaluronic acid serum under my moisturiser, and rosehip oil on a night, and my skin has improved loads! im not sure if that helps but your problem sounds a bit like mine 😊

yes! i had the same thing (oily but severely dehydrated skin with tiny bumps everywhere) and hyaluronic acid helped me so much! (i can really recommend the moisturizer and the serum by evolve organic beauty, both products made my skin so soft and smooth :D)

I would totally vouch for rosehip oil! I use it instead of moisturiser every day and night and my skin is so plump and hydrated and it doesn't block your pores as it's noncomedogenic!

Katie Harkin rosehip oil has retinol in it naturally, and I'm pretty sure the vitamin A cream is a retinoid or a derivative. Rosehip oil is a good natural alternative for the same effects

Nikky Lad I totally agree. Dermatologist doesn't seem consistent. She doesn't seem up to date with skincare advice. Hyaluronic acid, rose hip oil and an acid treatment with aha and bha would be the best thing Rhiannon could use. I had adult acne due to stress, hormones and wearing makeup everyday. My skin was congested, red, very oily and dehydrated. Since using The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid, Moisturising Factors, Rosehip Oil, La Roche Posay Effeclar Duo my skin has been amazing even with the stress and makeup that I have. I recommend watching Caroline Hirons on KZbin for up to the minute know how. I love water beads, great for sensory play, I'm a nursery school teacher.

I had recent break outs on my forehead and only really my forehead, it was more like tiny bumps not full on spots? (I got spots at the time of the month tho!) and I found it was actually because I had changed my shampoo and conditioner to one that's for greasy hair and as soon as I changed back the acne relatively went away!! I also went to the doctors and they prescribed me with epiduo which is AMAZING! Also, she told me ALWAYS MOISTURISE, the drier your skin the more your skin tried to produce sebum oils which produces acne??

As an acne sufferer I've used both Duac and Differin an Duac is suuuuper drying so thats probably not helping the dryness on your chin etc and differin is more moisturising than Duac but I never found it worked as well....best thing I've used to clear up my acne is the Neutrogena Spot Gel and use the differin once they've started to clear up so they don't get super crispy. The brand Sukin is amazing!! I still suffer with really bad acne and my skin is really dry but gets oily throughout the day and the products from that brand have saved my skin!! The rosehip oil is amazing and works wonders on acne scars. You can get it in Boots and its not too expensive and is organic and cruelty free. I'm not a dermatologist or an expert on skincare just want to share what I've found works :)

Laroche posay saved my skin- I used to have really persistent break outs but kept looking for something to work. Finally, I got a travel sized pack of their acne wash and moisturiser and over time my skin keeps getting better and better. I noticed a difference straight away. I use cetaphil foam wash for oily/ acne prone skin before the laroche posay wash, then I dry my skin and apply some witch hazel and then apply a thin layer of the laroche posay moisturiser morning and night. I think it's well worth trying because I was 24 and still breaking out and this has helped so much

You should try a gel moisturizer during the day! I use the garner moisture rescue moisturizer! It's water-based so it soaks into the skin fast and doesn't leave an oily feeling. I only use a stronger moisturizer at night so I'm still getting soft skin!

I used Differin and Duac a few years ago, and it does dry out your skin, but that's what it's supposed to do. In my understanding, it's regenerating the skin and peeling back the layers skin that has been damaged by acne and excess oil build up. The process of the skin drying out is annoying and itchy and a bit sore, but the skin that eventually comes out afterwards is beautiful and smooth! My guess is that this is why they've told you not to use moisturiser - because part of the healing process IS the skin drying out and peeling off. So frustrating for you that they didn't properly explain that though!

Kiehl's products literally transformed my skin! Especially the ultra facial oil free gel cream (amazing moisturiser and isn't oily!) and the blue herbal cleanser! The differin gel forms a layer over your skin which peels off with make up, so cleanse before you put make up on to remove it, it isn't your skin peeling haha don't worry. Love your vlogs ❤️❤️❤️

You should try to use a soft facial cleanser that doesn't contain soap, that way it doesn't irritate your skin and doesn't leave your skin dry which can cause even more oil production and therefore, acne. I have oily, acne-prone skin that somehow feels extremely dry, but I've found a routine that works amazing for me! I use a soft facial cleanser in the mornings and at night ( *La Roche-Posay Purifying Foaming Gel for Oily Sensitive Skin* which is soap free!!), a lightweight oil to hydrate my skin at night ( *Palmer's Skin Therapy Oil for Face* ) and for daytime I use a light face cream ( *Clinique's Dramatically Different Gel* ) and some SPF. My skin texture, acne and scars have gotten so much better! I hope this helps someone!

I've had problems with my skin for ages. Tried skincare after skincare and pill after pill. I have acne prone skin and I do get really dry skin due to eczema and imbalance. In the last 3 months I have switched my skin care again to La Roche Posay. BEST SKIN CARE EVER! Completely cleared up my skin, has balanced my levels of oil and my skin has never felt so clean. I do use a pimple cream from the range that is the Effaclar Duo scar treatment, it is a dream. I 100% recommend it to anyone who has dealt with the annoying journey of skin! Hope this can help you out girl! 💖

(Not a cosmetologist, but I studied beauty therapy and had to learn about skin types, products to suit them, facials etc) I was taught that everyone needs to use a moisturiser, no matter what skin type or problems they have. I find it odd that you wouldn't be recommended one at all but then again I don't know if the other products she gave you have moisturising effects or not x

I've extremely dry skin (with eczema) but sometimes I get a few spot especially on my nose and chin. So I use that green gel face washer from avene and then put a good moisturizer after and it works absolutely fantastic on my skin! I'm able to change the moisturizer but NEVER that face washer! ;)

I have extremely dry skin and I need to use the Nivea blue tin day and night. I now use (because I'm 45) a hyaluronic acid underneath my moisturizer and it is amazing. I have had acne on dry skin in my late 20s early 30s, and my dermatologist said to keep my skin supple and moisturized and gave me topical antibiotics specially made by the pharmacy to suit my dry skin. I'd get a second opinion. Honestly. I don't mean to cause trouble, but I think it's worth it. I also started birth control because my acne turned out to be hormonal. I kept the cream in case I had break-outs on top of that, but the birth control cleared me up totally in the long run.

In my experience, diet has been so important for my skin. No cream or treatment would work on my acne then I gave up dairy and my skin has been pretty much perfect since. I notice sugar has a small effect too. I definitely think it's something to consider.

Also my skin seems to hate foundation, and once my skin started to get better from changing my diet, I then was confident enough to stop wearing foundation and I think that made a huge difference. Now I just wear concealer where I need it and a light moisturiser and it's like my skin can breathe!

Hi Rhiannon! My skin went the same way as yours after I had my daughter 😒 Randomly greasy where it wasn't before but also still dry in places if I don't moisturise it. I've found that exfoliating really makes my skin worse in terms of spots so instead of using a product to exfoliate I literally just use the cloth that comes with the LE cleanse and polish on its own on wet skin. It just gets the dead skin off without irritating it and causing spots. Also, have you seen the reusable swim nappies bambino mio do? They're fab and I'd really recommend them. Saved us a fortune on swim nappies and they still fit under the neoprene ones 🙂 xx

The drink you bought said Kefir on it, but it doesn't look anythnk like kefir. Kefir is actually a type of dairy product from Eastern Europe. It's thicker than milk and has a sour taste to eat, that's why it's so good for the gut health. If you come across it in stores, give it a try. :)

Definitely get a second opinion if you're not sure! Duac and Differin are the first things GPs prescribe, they might work for a bit but aren't long-term solutions because your skin will become resistant. When I had acne I went to a derm at Nuffield Health and he was amazing. I ended up going on Roaccutane which was a miracle cure for my skin (obviously this might not be right for you), and as for skincare, the more simple the better! My dermatologist advised I just use Cetaphil cleanser and moisturiser and avoid any masks, exfoliators, etc. But yeah, don't want to preach at you but I'd recommend shopping around and seeing what other dermatologists suggest :)

I would suggest going back to basics. I wash my face every night with Alep soap. If I have some pimples I pop on a little bit of tea tree oil. Then I moisturize with coconut oil or if my skin is feeling especially dry, with shea butter. In the morning I cleanse with flower water (I make it myself and mix in rose water, witch hazel water, a squeeze of lemon juice, a few drops of tea tree and lavender oil) and then pop on aloe vera gel. If my skin is having a breakout, before the gel I put a drop of tea tree oil on the spot. If my skin is super dry (in the winter), I mix the aloe vera gel with a tiny bit of coconut oil. If I want to wear makeup on that day, I just blot the excess oil after 10 minutes or so. It's cheap and easy and my skin loves it. About once a week I exfoliate: mixing baking soda with coconut oil and tea tree oil, I gently rub it on my face. :) As a side note, I used to have combination/oily skin, now it's closer to normal with dry spots and oily t-zone (and it changed quickly in the past few years, I'm now almost 28). I still do get breakouts but I get them from stress, when I don't eat properly, a week before my period, and also because I pick at my skin. But when I'm under control it's in great condition.

I've seen a doctor twice regarding my skin and I've been prescribed two different creams one which didn't work at all it made things worse and now I'm trialling a antibiotic cream but I'm definitely going to book a dermatologist appointment to see if they can help further. I had mild acne when I was 15, and that cleared by the time I was 19, and since having a baby my skin has gone right down hill it's changed from dry to oily, and I have acne back again all along my jaw line/under my chin. The doctors I have spoke to have said it's post pregnancy acne. It's driving me mad as it's almost like I'm a teen all over again :( x

Differin is a retinoid and can dry your skin out so it's very strange that she is discouraging you from moisturizing. I have battled acne most of my life (teen to adulthood) and I have oily skin. My dermatologist told me to make sure to moisturize because your skin will actually OVER produce oil if it's dry. I moisturize at night. I'm not a dermatologist but the advice she gave you is the opposite of what I've known about acne and what my Derm told me.

Throughout my teenage years and young adult life, I had spot free skin but was dry. When I was pregnant my skin was an absolute dream!! However, when my son turned 7/8 months I noticed I started to get spotty round my forehead and now he is turning 9 months soon, I can't help but feel crap for having spots all over my forehead (and even on my scalp, ouch!) ☹️. But when the spots have gone, they leave bumps behind! Not sure what that's about.... I wonder if it is the hormones just tapering off or now that we had a baby, our skin has changed completely and we do need to adjust regime. Same thing with my hair, it's changed. It gets greasy ever so quick and flat. Doesn't help when it's your time of the month either 🙄

Delilah seems like such a good eater. I'm starting my little one on solids soon and I'm so confused about the whole thing!! Rhiannon, how often were you feeding Delilah solids at first? I'm reading that they should be eating veggies, fruits, iron fortified foods etc... Did you start her off once a day then moved on to a couple of time and so on?

Carmen it all depends on age and the child. My daughters 10 months and has breakfast and dinner but shes only just started eating soft solid foods but everyone else I know has got their children eating pizza and sandwiches at 6 months :| just dont stress over it!!

+Bianca Lopez it's weird though because I've used it since I was 18 and it's only this year I've had acne, so goodness knows what's causing it :(

Fave KZbin channel always look forward to your Vlogs. Totally have the same opinion on Naked Attraction, you know it's trashy TV but you can't take your eyes off it. Look forward to the next Vlog lots of love ❤️❤️

I'm just 4 minutes into the video but I heared Duac and thought, 'Hey, I know that, maybe you use Differin too' and you just pulled that up. But they are both very drying for your skin in the long run, so I would ask you dermatologist about moisturizing! Hope your skin clears up!:)
