I totally understand your statement about the healing of isolation yet the side effect is that it enhances your social anxiety. I think for me it’s because it’s so peaceful having this time to myself. And I remember what’s out there that actually causes my anxiety when thinking of leaving my comfort zone of being a bit antisocial.

Thank you. You just described exactly what I feel, when I feel it. I still love being social, but only while I’m out and about. When it’s personal, it has to be with people I fully trust, have no desire to hurt me. It’s weird because I don’t even think people will hurt me (I usually see good in everyone I meet), but because of my past, the risks of it, makes me want to just stay in my imaginary fort where I can avoid it all. Sometimes, it’s not even about the fear of being hurt. It’s the fact that I am an empath. I literally absorb others emotions, & sometimes, intentions around me, & it can be very draining. Also, it’s hard to explain my need of privacy & boundaries to others. Most say they understand, but it hurts when I realize they didn’t, after I’ve already made myself vulnerable. I think, back in my bubble I go lol. I’m done hiding though…it can be draining too, knowing just how much I love people. Thank you for sharing. It makes me feel so much better. Understood in a way. 😊💜

Aww thank you for your advice & prayers. I’ve been hearing this a lot lately, & have taken heed. Although, I still want to move around, my body is doing the opposite. Time to rest & completely allow my loved ones to take care of me. Yes, he’s always had a very strong heart beat which makes me even more grateful to have him. After 10 yrs, he is my miracle baby for sure. Right! Double Dutch was it! That would be awesome. I don’t even think kids nowadays even know how to anymore. I could be wrong though.
