I had my first baby in Feb and I love the middle of the night feed (he just has one a night which is amazing) it's so quiet and it's just our time to bond! I feel like we're the only two people in the world.

Hope all those who struggle with infertility in this day and age realize how lucky you are....20 years ago this wasn’t an option. You do strike me as someone that does know and its nice to see that. God bless your beautiful baby Ayla

This came out the day my son turned two. I have been watching you and Caleb since I was pregnant(or I think even before)and I just can't believe that Nova is one month already! Time flies so hold onto every second, the good, the bad, and the moments of exhaustion. You two are doing such an awesome job already and I am so thankful I found your channel(s).

Woooow!! The sleep is amazing! My 20 month old woke up every two hours for the first 4 months religiously!! He was a not much better than that at 7 months old. She is being very kind to you!! My older two were not breastfed, and slept for 4 hours at a time. But breastfed babies tend to wake more often. Well done to you all! Xx

I had my daughter just a few days before you (the 19th) and I literally cannot believe it’s already been a month!! I definitely can relate when you said it seemed to fly by but at the same time i can’t remember what things were like without her.. it’s crazy but such a blessing. And sweet little Nova is so adorable!

So glad you have been able to stick it out with breastfeeding! We also had a rough start. Jaundice which required a hospital stay, cracked nipples, a very stubborn battle with thrush as well. We had her tongue tie clipped at 4 months but wish we’d done it sooner. Nursing is such a rewarding thing! She’s four now and looking at how big she’s gotten and knowing that my body did that really helps me to feel confident. I may not be fertile anymore since a ruptured ectopic took my Fallopian tube but at least I know once I get pregnant my body can feed that baby :). Nova is just beautiful! Her hair is amazing. And it actually looks like my husbands hair. He’s been bald since college 😂 her grumpy faces are the cutest as well. I predict lots and lots of funny pictures in your future. Seems like she’s going to have a big personality!

I almost gave up on breastfeeding. I didn't have any cracks or pain while feeding him, but I was doing it in bed without proper support and it was torture. I've I moved a chair into our room and got me a nursing pillow the game was changed!

Another reason they cluster feed is they are having growth spurts - you will see they get a bit chunky then all of a sudden they get taller! There clothes will get too short or they will fit in them better if they were too big! You are doing really well! ❤️🇦🇺

Something no one understands until they are a parent is it goes soooo fast. My youngest and last baby boy is 4 months from 2 years old. I swear I just had him yesterday! Lol. I cant even fathom him at 2 years old. My oldest is about to finish kindergarten. Like mind blown. Its crazy how fast it feels. Long days, short years

It is very interesting how babies can't start changing. My baby was swaddled for like the first few weeks then he hated it. Then a few months down the road I couldn't get him to sleep so I had the thought to swaddle him again and he fell right to sleep after I swaddled him. Just use your mommy intuition. You're a great mom!!!

Also, if you have any challenges pumping, try nursing Nova on one side at the same time as pumping the other breast. That was the only way I was ever able to pump successfully. It takes advantage of your let-down reflex.

I have kind of a controversial question. Are you vaccinating? I'm all for it. All 4 of my kids are up to date on all shots. Just wondering 💕😊 this month has flown by and motherhood looks great on you! You're a natural!!!

Ayla, you're doing great! If you are thinking of getting Nova on a schedule soon, there is a fantastic book called "Healthy Sleep Habits, Happy Child" by Dr. Weissbluth that I used for both of my children. It is NOT a cry it out method, I promise.

I have a recommendation for you and your future children. Since you are not related to them genetically, I would advice you to collect the cells from their umbilical cords. In that way they will have access tp alot of treatments that need compatibility. My children are genetically mine and I still did it because those cells are so important in case they need a future medical treatment. In your case.I think it would be even more so. I hope you get my idea, English is not my first language.

I suggest always having a big glass of something to drink whenever you nurse her .... it can make a huge difference in maintaining your supply. You seemed quite dry-mouthed in this video, which is why I'm making this suggestion. I also found that some time bare-breasted and using a heat lamp really helped with nipple issues. You're doing great.
