@JOSH-lw2jv8 ай бұрын
Fun Fact: A novelization for the film - under the shorter title of *"BABY"* - was written by the late Ian Marter (under the pseudonym: Ian Don) who previously wrote a novelization for the 1984 Touchstone film: *"Splash".* The novel include scenes that were deleted from the film, including an earlier conversation with Dr. Eric Kiviat & Etienne (before Kiviat later kills him), and one scene that was filmed in the Disney back lot where Baby (after she runs away from Susan & George) encounters a herd of Elephants. She interacts with a calf and wants to stay with them, only to be rejected by the cow elephant who push her down a muddy slide. In Jerry Goldsmith's soundtrack, the music cue: "Where's Baby" was extended, more than likely for the elephant sequence that ended up cut from the film.

I was a teen when this came out (and a fan of William Katt because the Greatest American Hero was great). It probably had some of the best dinosaur effects of any movie up until that time.
