Baby Shower Series Project 5: Hot Air Balloon Centerpiece

Project 5 was alot of fun even though it took me a long time to complete. I have my son visiting and took time as he watched me do my thing..lol. He was very impressed with his mama and all the work I do just to create a video. In the end I'm very happy to do these videos for you, it brings me alot of joy and satisfaction to share with you. Thank you all for being so supportive.

You blame us for you making a glue mess but if you go back and look it was right in front on your 👀 eyes not in front of our eyes until you lifted it up and said you were doing it for us and you showed us the watcher after you made your glue mess, now this is turning out very cute but don’t blame the the watchers that haven’t even watched yet and are purely innocent in this for you making a mess just don’t say anything at all your human your allowed to not be perfect and make mistakes but to blame every mistake on us “ the viewer is a complete cop out & I’ll tell you right now you will lose a lot of potential followers planning the blame game instead of owning your own crap girl!!! These are just absolutely charming! You should be very proud. You have given me an idea, My grandson is really into Fortnite the video game. I wanted to get him an action figure of the hot air ballon bus used in the game for Christmas but there were t any to be found. I thought about making one but could not figure out what use for the ballon. The smaller lantern would be perfect! Thank you for sharing this idea they are truly lovely.

the boxes i got from dollar tree during christmas, the lanterns are from hobby lobby as well as fabrics. many of the ribbons are from walmart and some from dollar tree. the plastic straws i've had for years but can be found on amazon, they are used for balloons. the stars are from a local craft store but you can find styro foam shapes on amazon and use wooden dowels for the sticks or use wooden scewers. the glass jar and tea light candle are from dollar tree. the string is from hobby lobby.

I made this for my daughter's baby shower. I had a terrible time getting the plastic sticks to stick to the air balloon. I didnt do a great job but she loves it so we will use it.

Yes I care! I know how horrible these changes in the weather can be for I also have a disease that reacts negatively to the changing weather. Enjoy your time with your son! I have been looking forward to these videos and helped my daughter make items for her friends baby shower this weekend she used your ideas as a jumping off point after I shared them with her. My children are 30 b, 28 g and 18 b and not a grandchild insight, like you one day my turn will come. I hope you don't forget to take care of yourself, you will want to be around to help with your grandchild.

The plastic sticks are for balloons and you can find them on Amazon. Search for balloon sticks and it should show you several choices. I purchased mine at local floral/party store but I just looked on Amazon and you can find them there for reasonable prices.

I Love you hot air balloons. I would have used dowel rods I think they are alot more sturdy and maybe so white jute rope. You can use some paper straws to cover dowel rods. I think they will fit the 3/16 dowel rods. You did an amazing job.
