When I started the FNAF Sister Location painting, I actually didn't want to make Baby at first, cuz Fun time Foxy is my favorite character (as well as Spring trap) but after watching the whole play through from Markiplier of Sister Location, it was a must do to make Baby because she's not just any character but a huge main character who you get to know and understand.

I really loved how in the newest game it wasn't just like a jump scare strategy jump game with some background lore, but like an actual linear plot game with an easter egg of Ennard to the classic FNAF game. And I love how the characters in Sister location had personalities and like had a real solid motive to actually kill and attack on top of just being murdered and tormented souls from the past such as being murdered by Purple guy or something (as an example I know there's a lot more to it) but like how they are literally trapped people, who are still continuously being tortured with shock and being treated as slaves to entertainment and the ongoing fear of the "scooper". I think this is exactly what the FNAF franchise needed, because if it was just like any of the games before it would just start to get to be a cookie cutter same thing over and over again, so I think this new direction is really great and amazing!
What's even more great is that Baby isn't bad. like she's not evil, and if you understand the plot and especially if you really dig deep in the lore of the game, it's actually sad with what happened/is still happening to all of them, and how Baby really just wants to find help to be free from all the abuse and isolation and fear that they face every night. And I really wanted to capture that in this painting, which is why I kinda humanized baby's expression a little bit, so it's a little emotionless but it's like a dazed pain type of deal where you can tell she's still a robot that can't express pain through her face too much, but you still see that the emotion is there. And then I wanted to make them fall apart to like show the mental decline from the abuse they all get, and the fear of what the scooper does to them all. So it's a very symbolic piece. But yeah I love how Baby isn't bad, and overall her intentions are good and what she did wasn't meant to be a trap she just genuinely wanted help and to help the others and thought she found it in you, the abuse she has faced just warped her morals a little bit and she failed to see how much of a murder it would mean for her to take your body in the end, but I can't really blame her because it was just because her mind was so tortured. It's so sad.
This piece was actually really hard to come up with too. Just with the way any of the FNAF games present themselves, it's hard to think of an interesting and unique composition for some good FNAF fan art. When I went to look around at what other artists did with Fan art to maybe get some inspiration, most of it is the same thing over and over with them all performing on a stage or something, and that was the sheer opposite of what I wanted to do, and it's hard to think of something that isn't that simple and commonly done FNAF artwork. (not saying there's anything wrong with doing that XD) So instead of making them on the stage, I tried to go a little more outside of the box with FNAF fan art, and show like the real message or inner atmosphere of what Sister location really made a point of and bring that out in some maybe good and uncommonly seen fanart? idk lol I tried XD lol but oh well it was a lot of fun either way. XD lol I really do love painting metal.
