Baby Tabor's First Steps! HE'S WALKING!

Tabor took his first steps and we are so proud of our walking baby boy! They say the journey of a thousand miles begins with one step. I wonder where this one will take you:
One step is all it takes to change your direction.
Usually forward sometimes back. Up, down.
But you can’t go until you start.
You were ready before you started, balancing, holding on to our hands, I like to think you didn’t want to start because that meant you wouldn’t get to hold on to mama’s or my hand anymore.
But you got braver… stronger… and one day:
This will repeat all through out your life. I know you’ll take many.
First steps, big steps, little steps, miss steps.
But remember: yes, it’s important to take the first step but it’s equally important to own it.
This is your path filled with your steps. Even if they lead you wandering into darkness. Own them. Acknowledge them. Apologize for them if needed. But your missteps, can also guide you back to your true path.
It’s not anybody else’s path. It’s your path filled with all of your steps. And this is the first of many more amazing steps to come.
