Hey Robert hope you are doing well. Nothing like petting a fawn to get back to nature. When I was a kid I got caught up in the original Bambi novel (not the commercialized Disney story book) and went out looking for deer and pretending I was one. Then when I got to be about 7 yo the magic left me. Still enjoy the deer though even knowing they don't have personalities and are just dumb deer does they still seem majestic and mysterious at times.

Yes, thanks. The does nurse the fawns in the morning and then bed them for the day will they go do the shopping. If it only worked that way for humans we wouldn't need day care :-)

The deer does always show up in the evening. You can pet the fawns and the mother will not reject them either, that's a myth.
